Great features, good patch management, and useful ransomware protection
I also have experience with Sophos and Kaspersky. The main difference is that some features are not available in Kaspersky. And, for example, the patch management part is not included in Sophos. On the Kaspersky side, they have a patch management part. However, we need to purchase an additional option to enable that feature. With Comodo Protection, patch management is already included with the product, and we don't need to buy it separately. Also, the main advantage is performance. When we implemented Sophos on the endpoint, the CPU utilization went higher. When we installed Comodo, the memory of the CPU utilization is very low. We can implement Comodo from XP and SP3 to the latest operating system. However, with Kaspersky or Sophos, they are not supported for that or Windows 10. Comodo is supporting Windows XP SP3 and all our operating systems. That said, the Sophos Intercept X Advanced option has a web filtering part, or integration. Comodo has only basic filtering, and web filtering is there. That means we can do the URL web addresses and block and allow the connection and that's it with Comodo. Comodo does have a separate product for that, Comodo Secure Internet, where we can configure and filter all the web filtering parts. That would be an extra solution at an extra cost.

Effective threat predictions, simple to deploy, and light on resources
Malwarebytes's initial setup is simple. It is easy to deploy and configure the policies and the configuration. I deployed Malwarebytes for one customer and I did it in under two days. They had approximately 50 users, it took approximately an hour. The steps I took for the implementation were downloading the Malwarebytes management console from the site, installing it, then running the discovery tool, scanning my network, and checking all of the PCs on my network. It's already pre-configured, you don't need to configure anything. The only configuration that I did on the administration console was some of the exclusion from the scan. This is the only rule that I have created. I rate the initial setup of Malwarebytes a ten out of ten.

Pros

"It's a very easy-to-use product."
"The most valuable feature of Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection is its ability to provide ransomware protection."
"It's stable and reliable."
"Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection allows our organization's clients to be managed and inventoried remotely."
"They offer the whole package. Remote monitoring and management (RMM) is included with it, which is pretty nice. They also have Windows patching and third-party patching. It was easy to use for protection. The containment engine was pretty nice for securing our environment."
"Overall, I would rate Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection a nine out of ten."
"The big advantage is that it has a sandbox if something bad comes into it."
"The product’s valuable feature is the remote control station."
"Being able to carry out a full scan on your system."
"The platform is straightforward to install."
"The most valuable feature is its ability to customize for different groups."
"It allows us to have better knowledge of the way people use the tool and how we can improve their workflows."
"It is a stable solution."
"The solution has a good management interface."
"The most valuable features of the solution are malware scanning and malware removal."
"It gets the job done, and they are consistently updating it monthly."

Cons

"They need to enhance the performance of the agents. Currently, the performance is going low when the agent starts a full scan. The agent is consuming a lot of resources while scanning. When there are a lot of documents to check, it slows down the endpoint. This is the only thing that worries me about Comodo, but this issue is also there in other products. It is missing DLP, and I know that they are working on adding some data loss prevention capabilities. They have added some capabilities, but these capabilities are not yet mature. I hope they will enhance these capabilities because it is important to prevent the data from going out from inside. We are protected from the outside, but we also have to be protected from the inside out."
"The quality of the analysis and the product dashboard is a bit low compared to other providers."
"There could be MDRM features added to the product."
"The solution's online documentation needs to be fine-tuned. It is not up to which solution currently has. There is some inconsistency in the knowledge present. I would like to see MDM in the solution's future releases."
"The licensing fees are high. The company should work to try to lower them for the customer."
"The downside of the product stems from the fact that it is still an unknown product in the market. Comodo needs to invest more in advertisements and promotions."
"They need to just modernize the infrastructure with something that is next-generation. We have recently moved to SentinelOne. It had been doing good for us for a while, but we needed something modern with new technology."
"Their support is not very good because they are very late to reply."
"The product is a little bit more expensive than the other brands."
"They can include advanced scanning and improve reporting. I scan malware on the pen drive. Some more reports need to be added for that. It should also provide better protection because we have a new version of the malware."
"We had a little performance problem with the solution, but that's been resolved. Since then, it's been running well."
"The free version is effective, however, the paid version is pricey compared to it."
"The product's stability needs improvement."
"I would like to see a little more detail in the log. So, when an event occurs, I'd like to know not just when it happened and on what device, but what activity was taking place on the machine at the time so that we can drill down. If we get a false positive, we have to do a lot of research and go back and forth with our end-users to know why it was a false positive. So, having a little more detail around detections and events would probably be my most asked feature."
"Requires increased efficiency in terms of detecting false positives."
"Malwarebytes can improve its network database. Malwarebytes can scan the files and registry. It can scan the system with a light agent. It will not impact the performance of your PC. You can do the full scan and database scan using the EDR, and the RAM and CPU consumption will not increase."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's a cost-effective solution"
"I rate Comodo’s pricing a four out of ten."
"I rate the pricing a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive. The product can be considered fairly cheap."
"The tool's pricing is not very expensive and falls within the market price. The solution's licensing is on a yearly basis."
"The price of this product should be lower."
"It was about 35 or 40 bucks per year for the endpoint."
"The product is pricey."
"The product is very reasonably priced."
"The cost may be something in the ballpark of $20-25 a year per computer."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"The licensing is per seat, with clients being a little less expensive than servers. If we need more licenses, we can accomplish that within a day. As Malwarebytes adds new features to their product, such as DNS filtering and a patching module, they want to charge us more even though we're a premium user, which isn't ideal."
"The platform pricing is competitive with other antivirus products."
"Malwarebytes is a cost-effective product."
"We expect to pay $1,000 USD a month, depending on the number of users."
"Yearly, it is around $50 per client."
"I would say that it's affordable. It costs much less than Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, or anything of that nature. But, at the same time, you are getting what you pay for. So I would say it's one of the best when you're comparing traditional NextGen AVs like Webroot that aren't the best in the bunch."
