Integration with other services has improved migration efficiency
A valuable feature is the schema conversion tool, which allows me to migrate databases, for example, from Oracle to Postgres. The service is fully managed by AWS, which makes it better to use the migration services. It is beneficial to enable phased migration, and the service offers easy integration with other AWS services. The integration of AWS Application Migration Service with AWS makes it a good tool for working with AWS services.

Migration projects have become faster and have saved significant time on complex workloads
OpenText Migrate is our primary tool. I know they have a lot of other products like DNS and tools from cybersecurity, but we don't use it at this time. On Demand Recovery, for recovery, we use another tool from OpenText. It's C2C. It's a product to back up the mailbox. I don't know what I can find at this time. So maybe yes, but the last time I used it was a few months ago. It does the job, so I don't have an opinion on this currently. They don't have a lot of marketing actions. We know this product because we are an OpenText partner for the C2C. But it's another division. It's another part of the company. So we don't have a lot of information. So, I think they can improve the communication for the end-user because a lot of customers do not know OpenText, and they don't know they can provide this type of tool. My overall rating for this product is 9.

This can be challenging because you have to install it, create the VM, install over it, and mount it at the mount point. Only then can you do the migration."
"We find it very difficult to use these tools in a multi-cloud environment"
