Attribution has enabled precise campaign decisions but pricing and support still need improvement
Pricing is a major area for improvement, as costs rise quickly as our app grows. The pricing becomes significantly expensive as event volume increases, so a clearer or more predictable pricing tier instead of a pure pay-per-event structure would be beneficial. Confusion around billing contracts is an issue, with several users feeling locked in and confused about pricing, charges, and contracts. Support is quite inconsistent, with no dedicated account managers available to resolve queries. Technically and functionally, Appsflyer looks good, but accuracy can sometimes face issues. Some users report inaccurate or inflated metrics that undermine trust, affecting the numbers recorded. We have faced this ourselves. We also experience dashboard issues occasionally, such as when the dashboard gets stuck in a loop and will not allow us to see it quickly during login, generally taking some time or requiring us to load the same page repeatedly. This happens occasionally, but Appsflyer is still a good tool.

Building accurate no-code resume screeners has saved weeks in document search workflows
I see room for improvement in Qdrant based on what another platform called Weaviate offers. Qdrant provides an excellent vector database with a solid searching method. However, it could elevate its offering by integrating embedding features. Currently, for the workflow automation I build, I rely on other platforms for embedding, so incorporating this feature directly in Qdrant Cloud would eliminate the need to depend on external solutions. A pain point I have encountered was the inactive expiration of the cloud created for certain projects. If the cloud is not used for a week, it gets terminated, which is frustrating. I think increasing that inactivity window in the free tier would be beneficial, as I have faced limitations due to this seven-day inactivity rule, requiring me to reset up the cloud after its termination.

Pros

"A specific positive outcome I've seen from using Appsflyer is getting insights into iOS with their single source of truth, which I use consistently for data analysis and getting a report that is agreeable between the client and me."
"Appsflyer is one of the strongest platforms for mobile attribution, deep linking, and ecosystem integration, and it actually delivers strong value for performance driven brands."
"Appsflyer has positively impacted the organization by helping increase revenue and reduce user acquisition costs, allowing for more users at a cheaper cost."
"Appsflyer acts as a centralized and only single tool for us, making it a good investment since we do not want to have any additional tools for monitoring or managing it, resulting in a good return on our investment."
"Appsflyer has positively impacted our organization by improving the particular events' properties."
"Since implementing Appsflyer, we have seen a 30% increase in our total app installations and a similar percentage increase in our user base and revenue."
"From a programmatic perspective, Appsflyer is one of the more reliable platforms when it comes to cross-channel management."
"The dashboard and real-time analytics are the main reasons I use Appsflyer when I am tracking order conversions."
"Using Qdrant's hybrid search capability has improved my search results."
"Qdrant is an excellent vector database that anyone would want to use with RAG AI."
"Qdrant is one of the best vector databases out there that is also open source."
"Qdrant has positively impacted my organization mainly by reducing usage costs for AI because in the older system, in order to get the context, we were just dumping everything into the system, which would inflate the cost of the API, whatever AI we were using, such as OpenAI or Claude."
"Qdrant is a good and scalable vector database, and it is free."
"Qdrant has positively impacted my organization by consuming much less time than building systems through coding."
"We saw a clear return on investment from Qdrant, particularly in the engineering time saved and the empowerment of team members to handle self-service tasks instead of reducing headcount."
"Qdrant has reduced our response time to less than one second for our 128 KB token sizes, and we are satisfied with that performance."

Cons

"Appsflyer is a powerful application, but sometimes having a lot of reports and charts can become complex initially and has a learning curve to it."
"It is difficult to predict the price for Appsflyer as it is based on conversions. It is also expensive."
"One challenge is attribution discrepancies; sometimes the numbers among Appsflyer, Meta, and Google internal backend events do not match, especially after iOS ATT changes."
"I would say sometimes the integration could be a bit tough, especially because I struggled when I was integrating Appsflyer into my Apple Search Ads and my iOS application."
"Many times we run into problems, and Appsflyer tech support is hard to reach."
"I feel that a feature improvement would be beneficial. After performing all the user actions, we were supposed to wait a few minutes, maybe two or five, and then check Appsflyer to download it, as there is no UI or UX to display user journey actions and properties directly."
"One improvement that Appsflyer can make is to find better ways to access aggregating raw data."
"Some clients also mention that the pricing for Appsflyer can become expensive as apps scale and attribution volumes grow, especially for high growth consumer apps."
"The area for improvement in Qdrant is its clustering capability. While it has clustering functionality, it is not easy to set up, and not everyone can configure the clustering, so there is room for improvement in the clustering configuration."
"A lot of our work is agentic right now, and we have also segmented the content to be logical, so there's not a lot of vector search anymore."
"One of the key limitations is that Qdrant does not have built-in role-based access control, and while being self-hosted is a benefit, it can also be improved."
"Qdrant is pretty good overall, but it can be improved. For example, the UI could be better, and it has pretty much very generic features that every other vector database provides."
"There can always be improvements needed for Qdrant, but I do not want to add anything at this time."
"Architectural complexity was a key friction point, as our primary database was set in Supabase, necessitating synchronization of two separate systems for user data, permissions, and states."
"A pain point I have encountered was the inactive expiration of the cloud created for certain projects; if the cloud is not used for a week, it gets terminated, which is frustrating."
"The file system lock in Qdrant prevents the API and scripts from hitting it directly, and to surpass this limitation, I have to run Qdrant client as a service, which incurs additional costs for running it continuously, so if something about that could be done, it would be really amazing."
