I can't specifically say how Amazon QuickSight could be improved since I focus more on using it and leveraging its functionalities. However, I could invest additional time to explore possible feedback from customers regarding their challenges. As cloud engineers, our capacity to improve is limited since AWS manages the services, but I would be open to feedback. I'm aware there are minor details that AWS could enhance, such as optimizing costs for beginners or small startups, which can be steep when trying to take Amazon QuickSight into production. Many have noticed that AWS services greatly benefit well-established companies, while startups struggle with costs as they transition data out of AWS. Understanding how AWS charges for Amazon QuickSight usage is critical for all users wanting to visualize their data effectively.

Business Analytics enables us to better understand our business and compare ourselves meaningfully to our competitors.
The solution has a number of distinct features that are noteworthy. First, it is an incredibly flexible and fast, yet comprehensive analytical solution. Verix has found a way to deploy the solution quickly, in under 3 months, while providing a product that is robust and uniquely tailored to the sales model within the industry. Second, in response to specific business needs that are constantly arising, Verix is consistently able to address our needs in a quick and thoughtful manner. Additionally, since Verix is cloud-based, these changes happen almost immediately, usually within hours or days. Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Amazon QuickSight can provide insights from the available data. It supports various rule types. We get the options of machine learning and insights, which are not available in other intelligence tools. It is easier to use, more stable, and cheaper than other solutions."
"The solution is simple to implement."
"The graph charts, pie charts, and box plots are valuable."
"The best part about Amazon QuickSight is the filtration capability."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the user interface."

"Verix’s intelligent business alerts (i.e. hotspots) provide outstanding value by putting easy-to-use analytics in the hands of the user."
"The ability to identify in real time changes in behavior that are in contrast to expected and past behavior applies to any constituent’s behavior – customers, prescribers, competitors, payers, and even your own sales reps, and the product is also extremely user friendly."
"Verix has improved our processes since the entire sales force now functions on this standardized platform, which allows for smoother channels of communication throughout the team."
"Previously we were using a solution called Business Information Warehouse, and another called Tableau; neither was as easy to use or as advanced as the Verix solution."

Cons

"There could be an end-to-end pipeline for data cleaning as well as presenting it using different visualizations."
"I feel that this solution could be better in some ways, as at the moment, from a development point of view, this is more suited to the technical developers only."
"One area for improvement is the cost, as it's a bit expensive."
"The cost of queries is very high."
"They could provide more options for graphics and other features."
"One area is that integrating data from different sources into QuickSight can be a bit tricky, especially with Amazon Connect. To get data flowing, you need to use two additional services and configure them correctly."
"We weren't able to fully implement it due to security concerns."
"You can't tell a data story as well in QuickSight as you can on others, especially in TIBCO Spotfire."
"There are tools in the market that have very slick graphical interface features."
"Currently there are 10 applications in the solution such as product launch and funnel. In the future I would like to see Verix add additional analytical applications so that an even greater range of the business aspects is covered."
