Automation has transformed regression cycles and brings QA and non-coding testers together
The best features of ACCELQ are its codeless automation, self-healing, and the fact that it brings web, API, and mobile testing into one platform with good CI/CD integration. The biggest impact for our team is usually self-healing because it cuts down flaky test maintenance and keeps regression runs stable when UI elements change. The CI/CD integration helps by letting you trigger automation as part of the build and release flow, so tests run early, failures are visible faster, and the team gets feedback without manual coordination. To summarize, self-healing has had the biggest impact for us because it reduced maintenance and made our tests more stable, while the CI/CD integration helps a lot in daily work since we can trigger runs from pipeline and get faster feedback to catch issues before release. ACCELQ has positively impacted our organization by making our automation more stable, faster to maintain, and easier to scale across the QA team. It also helped us reduce the flaky tests, improve regression turnaround, and bring manual and automation testers onto the same workflow more effectively. One measurable improvement is that our regression cycle dropped from about five days to eight hours as I mentioned earlier. We also saw a noticeable reduction in flaky test maintenance, which helped the team spend more time on actual test coverage instead of fixing broken scripts. The platform is especially useful for mixed-skill teams because it lets both QA and non-coding users contribute without making the workflow fragmented.

Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform contributes to faster test release cycles."
"We used ACCELQ to automate our regression suite for web and API flows, and it actually helped us cut the regression cycle from about five days to around eight hours."
"The initial deployment of Automation Anywhere is user-friendly, the wizards are self-explanatory, it is a very low-code environment that allows flexibility to explore based on the project's complexity, and overall I believe Automation Anywhere is a very user-friendly tool."
"Compared to other RPA tools, I prefer Automation Anywhere."
"Automation Anywhere offers a complete suite of development tools to empower developers for various enterprise automation needs."
"With the help of these features, we can automatically fetch data from invoices and websites, which is followed by the automated data entry into the webpage and ERP system."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of use. It's very user-friendly."
"It removes demotivating, repetitive work from our teams."
"It saves time for the people who operate it."
"We have seen AA bringing immense value to the clients once operational."

Cons

"ACCELQ can be improved in a few practical areas. It needs stronger reporting and analytics to help teams get clear visibility into execution trends, failure patterns, and coverage gaps."
"The platform's reporting aspects can be broader and include more granular details."
"So far, the stability is not good. We are trying to improve this because we are facing a lot of instability issues."
"It would be helpful if Device Credentials can sync with Active Directory so that for the IT policy case that requires periodic password resetting, there is no need for a human to input manually into each Bot Runner machine."
"We encountered issues during the upgrade of the framework. We were using the older framework of version 10.3.5. When we were upgrading, we were having a few issues in terms of getting the proper hardware and software prerequisites. For some things, like getting the controls of some of the application's tools, we were getting Automation Anywhere's help."
"Sometimes, the recorder from Automation Anywhere does not work well and is inaccurate. This should be improved."
"I would like to see a lot around API integration going forward, like the ability for other systems to talk to the AI better by opening it up. I would like to see more chatbots or anything in the journey of making it truly immersive for human workers working with these bots."
"My experience has been that if the person who codes the bot is not very well-trained, then they might create unstable bots. So, it's not the platform. It is just how somebody has coded the bots which can bring lot of instability to them. I recommend that when you are using a coder that the person well-trained and have a good amount of experience already working on bots. They shouldn't be newbie or beginner who comes in to code because that will impact the quality of the code itself."
"We have faced some downtime and crashes with the system, but with the cooperation of the Automation Anywhere team, we have been able to contain that."
"I feel the tool has to provide deeper insights for debugging issues, considering both internal and external factors."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the product's pricing an eight out of ten. It can be optimized."
"The product’s pricing is reasonable."
"The solution is quite expensive. Not every organization can consider this option."
"It saves me around $100,000 a year."
"I really enjoy the pricing options with Automation Anywhere, as they are able to flex their ability to adapt to the needs of the customer really well."
"There is an annual subscription for Automation Anywhere."
"We just did a round of price comparison on a global scale and found it's so hard to compare the license prices. But, Automation Anywhere, in general, is on the same price level as the other vendors, a bit lower in some cases."
"They're very flexible around pricing and licensing."
"We have reduced our headcount, approximately 200 to 300 employees, by eliminating manual, repetitive work. It provides profit to the business."
