For networking, we use Riverbed NPM. For APM we just finished testing Instana, and I am very impressed with the results. It monitors on-premise, cloud, multicloud and hybrid. It is fully AI and configures almost everything automatically.

I have no experience with Rapid 7 or InsightIDR.  IBM Qradar works great but is not easy to install. If it is running it is a great tool. Also depending on the budget, Riverbed security is a tool to consider. Costs are lower than QRadar and easier to implement.  Or you can…

Many SIEM solutions like QRadar are using UEBA in a SIEM solution. User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) use machine learning to detect anomalies in the behavior of users and devices connected to a corporate network.

IBM QRADAR is a great SIEM systems only expensive, it is capable to detect and report on security issues and the AI is doing a great job. If I compare it with different systems on the market, Riverbeds security system is equal, Advise if you like to go with IBM you should…

Appdynamics need more customization, Dynatrace has a one agent and customization is very simple. Personally I find Dynatrace better looking and the interface easier to understand but this is more a matter of taste. In problem resolution I find both equal to handle. If I look…

Answered a question: Any advice about APM solutions?
The key is to have a holistic view over the complete infrastructure, the ones you have listed are great for APM if you need to monitor applications end to end. I have tested them all and have not found one capable to give me solutions they all report you have a problem but…

Security is changing, they finding always new possibilities to break in. AWS Cloudwatch is more monitoring and log analytics tool, while a SIEM is more a security tool. So yes if your business is important an can not have a long downtime. The combination is better.
