About me
I am active in consultancy for Microsoft Server related projects and other ICT related services for clients in the Netherlands and occassionally also elsewhere ( www.bictt.nl ). My specialisation is SCOM and all products and versions around it. I am very much a community person. I received a Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 and 2012 award. I was awarded the MVP System Center Cloud and Datacenter Management award in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015.
I have a strong belief in partnering with other companies and people I know in order to create a win-win situation between the partners, but also for the customers we serve. We attain flexibility and all round IT knowledge by increasing the number of knowledgeable people through partnering. BICTT is a Microsoft Silver Certified Partner with multiple competencies and we have a fair number of partnerships in the market.
I have been a System Engineer for several years specializing in Microsoft technologies in a wide range. I have worked in a number of big environments and got a chance to work with most components of those networks. I have achieved a good number of MS certifications like MCSE, MCSA, MCITP including Messaging and Security specializations. This covers Windows Server and AD infrastructure, Exchange, Virtualization, Forefront products, System Center products and more.
I used to be a fisheries biologist and I am still very interested in that field, next to that I love to go fishing and I maintain several aquaria.
Specialties: I specialize in Microsoft System Center products (SCOM, MOM, SCE, DPM, VMM, Orchestrator etc) in previous and current versions, Active Directory , Exchange, ISA/TMG and a broad range of Microsoft server products.
