We have a one-to-one campus for students, where all utilize laptops. I use the product to share structural study material, post assessment, track assessment, and analyze the data.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
The product helps us effectively and quickly gather data, which is important because research shows that quick feedback is essential if you want to improve learning. The faster you gather the data, determine how to respond, and provide feedback, the faster you improve learning. It is helpful.
What is most valuable?
The product helps us create and reorder courses and add other instructors. We were able to collaborate with other peers. We can create groups and resources and share information with them through folders. Thus, it works efficiently to grant access to multiple members.
What needs improvement?
The students lose the software's access after quarterly courses are over. There could be a feature to grant them access to go back and check their progress.
Sometimes, we encounter issues while accessing the progress using OneDrive. There could be more seamless integration with some of the features. It would be helpful if it integrates well with Google Drive. It will provide users with more cloud options.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using Schoology Learning for seven years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the product's stability a seven out of ten. It is stable. When a lot of people use it, it sometimes encounters downtime.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The platform is very scalable.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Blackboard before.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
During COVID, when all the work was completely virtual, we discussed other tools, including Zoom. Later, we went for Schoology Learning, which has a good conferencing feature.
What other advice do I have?
I rate Schoology Learning a nine out of ten. I advise others to take a minute to explore the product's features. The teachers who want to utilize the product for group work or assessment working in a team should appoint a technical executive to understand the full functionality.
