Orange Logic provides our organization with a DAM solution. I work on the platform daily, running, developing, and using it every day.

A specific example of how I use Orange Logic in my daily work is when users have questions about our DAM. I need to provide them with solutions, and we are also developing the platform because we have customization that is very specialized depending on what we are doing with the bank. When we need to add AI or mandatory fields, for example for the assets, I use the platform daily, leveraging everything and links to create tickets with Orange Logic, putting assets, developing the platform, and ensuring that all users have everything they need.

I think our use case is well-suited for Orange Logic, and the interactions are almost every day. We also have multiple meetings per week with some team members because we are developing the platform, but we need the expertise of Orange Logic at times.

Orange Logic has positively impacted our organization by providing a very strategic platform because as a big bank, we really need to have parameters with a high level of security and also with implementations for links to current needs such as AI and development, being able to follow all the needs of the staff and team that we have.

I don't really have specific outcomes or improvements I've noticed since using Orange Logic because there are some good things but also some challenges at the same time. For example, we take one step forward but then go back. We will have some solutions very useful for developing the platform, but sometimes they try to do some releases without us. While there are positives, I think the team and in general really need to improve because they are sometimes not aligned with our needs.

Orange Logic offers a very useful solution with a lot of options that can be beneficial for the users, providing a very good DAM that is simple with good UX. It can be better, but the starting point is pretty good and useful because we can have links very quickly. We also have interesting metadata, and the recharging bar is working, so it's basic but very important for us.

The metadata features help my team by being useful for the users who are using the platform when they are looking for some assets. That's very useful for them to have a kind of first filter which helps them to find the right spot. With the metadata, it is pretty useful to track everything that happens with the asset and all the changes by the user, so we have the complete trail of everything.

Regarding Orange Logic's AI capabilities, their governance and security look good. In the next months with the new implementation, we will see if they are capable of maintaining high security over the long term. For now, it's just the beginning, so I keep one eye open and watch how it evolves.

Orange Logic's AI capabilities regarding accuracy and reliability of output are pretty nice and really interesting. They are staying current, so for now, it looks like they are genuinely caring about these topics, and I just hope they continue in the future without stopping for any reason.

Orange Logic can be improved in many areas. Sometimes they act like it's their first time using the DAM, and all the experts don't have the necessary level of expertise, so they always need to check and recheck and do some research together. While that's good for collaborative thinking, they don't always hold the right position. At times they have some amateur behavior, doing things without noticing and causing issues that need later explanation. They really need to improve communication and the overall expertise of their people.

The big lines for additional needed improvements are that they really need to be careful about the needs of the clients and not act like all clients are the same. We have different needs and require adapted solutions.

I have been using Orange Logic since the start of my job with BNP, for two years.

Orange Logic is stable most of the time.

Orange Logic's scalability is okay, not very well, but acceptable.

The customer support is nice, but sometimes they have a lack of organization. They are good, but it can take time for something very quick to be resolved.

I previously used a different solution, which was the DAM from Vidya, and it was really very nice, but that was another company.

I don't see a positive return on investment so far because every time we solve new problems, I just hope we can build more confidence in the platform.

The pricing, setup cost, and licensing experience are way too expensive.

Before choosing Orange Logic, I evaluated other options. We looked at one from Vidya and also had some Adobe solutions, but I can't remember the name of one of them.

The base of Orange Logic is good, but they have a lot of improvements to make. They really need to enhance overall communication and work with clients more smoothly, and I'm sure that would lead to a better grade. I rate Orange Logic a six out of ten because they can do way better, and they have improved a little bit since six months ago. Orange Logic is deployed in our organization as a private cloud where all members can access it. They just need to ask, pass a quick formation, and then afterward they have all the access they need.

We are using Microsoft for our private cloud and also using Edge.

My advice to others looking into using Orange Logic is to be careful. They really need to have a very good use case and ensure they have all the metrics, the contracts, and all details to make sure it really meets their needs.
