  • "This solution increases the employees' loyalty to the organization since everything regarding their salary, health, insurance, etc. is there. The employees can also check to see what activity is done on their files."

    What is our primary use case?

    We monitor the salary and compensation for the lifecycle of the employee, from the moment they are hired to the moment they leave the organization. On a monthly basis, there is a calculation of the payroll. There are 16 payroll periods in a year, so it is used for monitoring and governance. It monitors the absences, the sick leaves, everything.

    How has it helped my organization?

    This solution increases the employees' loyalty to the organization since everything regarding their salary, health, insurance, etc. is there. The employees can also check to see what activity is done on their files.

    What is most valuable?

    The self-service is very useful and it is used heavily, especially at the beginning or the end of every year since the salary raises are done in that period. So all the employees check the appraisals to see their results.

    What needs improvement?

    The reporting could use some improvement. It doesn't shorten the data that it displays to the employee. At the moment you have to scroll through all of the results in order to find what you are looking for.

    Another improvement that should be implemented in the next release is the appraisal. For the appraisal model, we have to go to another solution because the one included is not supporting us in our needs.

    I have been using this solution for six years.

    This is a stable solution. 

    What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    This solution is scalable. It is an agile system and can be modified to suit the needs of the organization and continued changes in regulation.

    How are customer service and support?

    Technical support is good but it is not that fast. 

    How was the initial setup?

    The initial setup was very complex. The salary grid, benefits, everything is customized. So, the customization itself took a lot of time.

    What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

    The licensing cost is yearly, and the local support for the company is an additional cost. 

    What other advice do I have?

    Companies should provide the maintenance themselves. Avoid doing a lot of complex customization whenever possible, because any customization will lead to a lot of complexity.
