Automation expertise grows and enhances global collaboration
The most valuable aspect is the ability to integrate with over 20,000 applications, which is a superior feature compared to Make.com that has limited applications access. I use multi-step automation workflows in my tasks, which increases productivity and efficiency. The features such as if-else conditions allow for different branches in automation, making the automation more productive. I utilized conditional logic, text parsing, and formatting. My experience with these advanced features has been excellent. For instance, I once pushed data from Zapier to GoHighLevel while checking the date, and based on that date, I created automation in GoHighLevel that involved various branches, effectively creating a loop. Remote access to Zapier's automated workflows and cloud integration is beneficial. I use cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox within Zapier. The remote capabilities are advantageous, allowing us to provide services from Pakistan for businesses based in the USA, reducing company expenses when hiring employees from the USA. The ability to work remotely globally through Zapier is a significant opportunity.

I do not experience any challenges applying Zoho Flow. I can create a new flow in the folder, but first I must be clear about which trigger I need to create the flow for and which task I need to apply Zoho Flow to. If my criteria and vision are clear, and my task is clear, I will not find any issues with Zoho Flow. If I am unclear about my intention or aim, then I might experience issues with any flow and APIs. When I have a clear view and thought about when to trigger the flow and what task needs to be done, I rarely encounter any issues.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Zapier is user friendly and makes it easy to integrate different tools. It has a drag and drop functionality which makes it easy to connect environments."
"I like the ability to connect one system to another, whereas that wasn’t previously possible without a custom integration."
"Zapier, combined with MailParser, is an essential element of our back-end operations."
"Zapier luckily has a wide range of integrations, I would say."
"There are immense possibilities to scale your business through Zapier."
"Technical support is very good, I got the proper answer immediately via webchat."
"With Zapier we are easily able to set up a custom notification and event-tracking service in only a few hours as opposed to several days."
"The most valuable aspect is the ability to integrate with over 20,000 applications, which is a superior feature compared to Make.com that has limited applications access."
"Zoho Flow allows us to integrate Zoho applications with other applications and within Zoho applications, and it is efficient and not time-consuming because we can integrate Zoho Book with Zoho CRM in about 10 to 15 minutes using Zoho Flow."

Cons

"Zapier needs more YouTube or video tutorials or more training for people. That would help a lot. In particular, Zapier should have documentation for every connector. Its documentation needs to be more detailed and visual."
"I would like to see them improve the Quickbase integration. Currently, it only allows triggering actions when records are added, but it would be more useful if we could also trigger actions when records are modified or deleted."
"So, if I use Zapier and I end up having to code, it loses its sense in my opinion."
"The technical support is low."
"One issue I experienced was that when Zapier did not automate or threw an error, the error was not user-friendly."
"We currently switch from Zapier because it was so expensive. My experience shows that for our use cases, other tools are cheaper."
"System-to-system is fine, but when it comes to system-to-user, where Zapier is helping to communicate to a user, that's a one-way communication. If that user has to perform some action on that notification, the action isn't handled by Zapier. So there's no way to orchestrate that and it's very cumbersome."
"Being able to share Zaps and organize them with teammates would allow sharing and refining scenarios and even combining steps that require different people's credentials."
"There could be integration with many other applications. For example, Jira applications cannot be integrated with Zoho Flow directly, which is why I use Zapier Flow."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Zapier's price is good."
"It's very affordable."
"It's very straightforward licensing. There's only one cost you have to pay, and if you want a relevant pricing plan, I think you have two or three different models or packages which include the number of notifications or Zaps, as they call it, that you can program."
"The product is reasonably priced."
"Per task, there is a monthly plan involving 15 euros...Also, in different forms, they just give you the ability to use different features. They charge 18.58 euros for the first standard plan, which includes 750 tasks. So, it is about 25 cents per task."
"There is a free plan that is, of course, limited. However, it allows you to understand and check true scenarios for a while."
"The least expensive plan is $24 a month, and you can go all the way to $800 a month if you're a huge company using many tasks."
"Zapier is a paid service. Its license renews monthly, and Zapier will downgrade your subscription to the free version when your credit card doesn't have funds. That significantly impacts your service because everything halts completely. Zapier doesn't have any hidden costs."
