Streamlined workflows with drag and drop convenience but needs enhancements in AI
I use Machine Learning Studio for system reselling and integration Machine Learning Studio is easy to use, with a significant feature being the drag and drop interface that enhances workflow without any complaints. It provides a return on investment and cost savings, proving beneficial for…

Good for creating POCs, training machine learning models, and experimenting without local resources
The project I’m currently working on relies on CUDA, but my local PC does not have any Nvidia GPUs. I’ve found the computational resources and ease of use provided by Saturn Cloud invaluable. Also, there are many ready-to-use Docker images and a rich documentation portal with useful examples. The dashboard for creating a new virtual environment contains almost all the features I needed: environment variable definitions, git repositories cloning directly from the new resources page, and an edit field to define a custom script during the boot process. For this reason, Saturn Cloud.io is a very good solution for creating POCs, training machine learning models, and generally experimenting a bit without worrying about local resources.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"What I like best about Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio is that it's a straightforward tool and it's easy to use. Another valuable feature of the tool is AutoML which lets you get better metrics to train the model right and with good accuracy. The AutoML feature allows you to simply put in your data, and it'll pre-process and create a more accurate model for you. You don't have to do anything because AutoML in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio will take care of it."
"Visualisation, and the possibility of sharing functions are key features."
"Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio has positively impacted my organization by reducing our project delivery times and increasing the pace at which we work, allowing us to focus on other more important tasks."
"Their support is helpful."
"Overall, I rate Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio a seven out of ten."
"I've developed a couple of chatbots using Azure OpenAI, leveraging its documented solutions and APIs. The tools available make it straightforward to implement machine learning solutions. However, there are challenges, such as hallucinations and security issues, but overall, it works well and is quite fast, allowing for the development of interesting projects."
"The visualizations are great. It makes it very easy to understand which model is working and why."
"The solution is very easy to use, so far as our data scientists are concerned."
"It offered an excellent development environment while not touching our production cloud resources."
"Saturn Cloud supports GPU as part of the environment, which is essential for many computational tasks in machine learning projects. It also allows us to edit the environment, including the image, before we start the cloud resources. This feature lets us quickly set up the environment without the hassle of moving the data and code to another cloud device."
"The feature I like the most about Saturn Cloud is that it has lightning-fast CPUs."
"They provide a centralized space for data, code, and results."
"There is plenty of computational resources (both GPU, CPU and disk space)."
"It didn't take long to see that Saturn Cloud could scale with my needs, providing more resources when required."

Cons

"This solution could be improved if they could integrate the data pipeline scheduling part for their interface."
"Stability-wise, you may face certain problems when you fail to refresh the data in the solution."
"There's room for improvement in terms of binding the integration with Azure DevOps."
"Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio could improve in providing more efficient and cost-effective access to its tools for companies like mine."
"Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio could improve by adding pixel or image analysis. This is a priority for me."
"I have found Databricks is a better solution because it has a lot of different cluster choices and better integration with MLflow, which is much easier to handle in a machine learning system."
"One problem I experience is that switching between multiple accounts can be difficult. I don't think there are any major issues. Mostly, the biggest challenge is to identify business solutions to this. The tool should keep on updating new algorithms and not stay static."
"As for the areas for improvement in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, I've provided feedback to Microsoft. My company is a Gold Partner of Microsoft, so I provided my feedback in another forum. Right now, it is the number of algorithms available in the designer that has to be improved, though I'm sure Microsoft does it regularly. When you take a use case approach, Microsoft has done that in a lot of places, but not on the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio designer. When I say use case basis, I meant recommending a product or recommending similar products, so if Microsoft can list out use cases and give me a template, it will save me a lot of time and a lot of work because I don't have to scratch my head on which algorithm is better, and I can go with what's recommended by Microsoft. I'm sure that isn't a big task for the Microsoft team who must have seen thousands of use cases already, so out of that experience if the team can come up with a standard template, I'm sure it'll help a lot of organizations cut down on the development time, as well as going with the best industry-standard algorithms rather than experimenting with mine. What I'd like to see in the next version of Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, apart from the use case template, is the improvement of the availability of libraries. Microsoft should also upgrade the Python versions because the old version of Python is still supported and it takes time for Microsoft to upgrade the support for Python. The pace of upgrading Python versions of Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio and making those libraries available should be sped up or increased."
"Providing more detailed and beginner-friendly documentation, especially for advanced features, could greatly enhance the user experience."
"It would be nice to have more hardware category options, like TPU coprocessors or ARM64 CPUs."
"My main suggestion for improvement centers on pricing. Introducing a tier modelled after AWS spot instances would be a game-changer."
"Public Clouds integration and sandbox environments would be a true game changer."
"We'd like to have the capability for installing more libraries."
"Saturn Cloud should include prebuilt images for advanced data science packages like LightGBM in the next release. If possible, they should also provide a Kaggle image, which contains the most common Python packages used in machine learning."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is less expensive than one of its competitors."
"When we got our first models and were ready for the user acceptance testing, our licensing fees were between €2,500 ($2,750 USD) and €3,000 ($3,300 USD) monthly."
"I rate the product price as a nine on a scale of one to ten, where ten means it is very expensive."
"The licensing cost is very cheap. It's less than $50 a month."
"The solution operates on a pay-per-use model."
"The product is not that expensive."
"My team didn't deal with the licensing for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, so I'm unable to comment on pricing, but the money that was spent on the tool was worth it."
"There is a license required for this solution."
