Long-term hosting with trusted security and compliance has supported diverse web projects
LAMP Stack Debian is one of the standards of website hosting solutions and software. Apache is the lead web service in the Linux world and not only in the Linux world. It has many features, modules, security implementations, and performance capabilities. SSL mode is one of the most valuable features of LAMP Stack Debian that I find of particular importance. mod_security, mod_ssl, and mod_rewrite are all basic components and basic authorization features of LAMP Stack Debian that can help prevent unauthorized access, offering different types of security implementation based on your IP address, different headers, and tokens. I can have a huge variety of options to apply with Apache. LAMP Stack Debian allows my organization to do its work. It allows us to provide development and hosting, and to host company business portals and business websites. The whole workflow and development are tied to this. Business results from using LAMP Stack Debian include actual delivery to market of websites and PHP applications. It is absolutely trusted for the clients and different vendors, making it a well-known standard that makes it easier to proceed with any compliance checks and validations with the clients. It is easy to work with as each component of the market and business understands what this tool is, what its requirements are, and what to expect.

Has supported seamless migrations and enabled running complex data workloads securely
The best features Rocky Linux offers include clustering and all the packages from Red Hat.Rocky Linux has impacted my organization very positively because we migrated everything from CentOS and Windows servers to Rocky Linux. Everything is clear, with good packaging, and now it's version 9.6, which is very important for us due to security problems since we are in Europe. Rocky Linux is very good for security and other aspects. Since migrating to Rocky Linux, I've seen specific outcomes such as improved security because CentOS stopped the project, and security patches aren't being released. We need to maintain a system similar to Red Hat, which is very stable and has many features such as file system, topology, and containers.

"LAMP Stack Debian has streamlined our operational overhead because it is highly predictable and universally respected by Linux engineers."
"The benefits and positive impact I have seen since starting to work with LAMP Stack Debian include cost-effectiveness, as it is open source and free with no licensing issues to handle, and I appreciate the documentation and resources available."
"LAMP Stack Debian has impacted my organization positively because it is easy to set up and there is no cost related to licensing since the entire stack is open-source."
"Rocky Linux has impacted my organization very positively because we migrated everything from CentOS and Windows servers to Rocky Linux, everything is clear, with good packaging, and now it's version 9.6, which is very important for us due to security problems since we are in Europe."
"Rocky Linux provides us with extended maintenance, security patches, and support lifecycle aligned with RHEL, making it highly reliable for critical systems."
"It helps us keep our workstations in sync and ensures consistent settings across most of our machines."
"In my opinion, the best features Rocky Linux offers are stability, compatibility, and community support, all of which I think are extremely necessary and essential for the distribution, and I find that all three pillars are very supported by Rocky Linux."
"I haven't needed to use customer service or support, which speaks volumes about their product's reliability and ease of use."
"Rocky Linux has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to migrate away from CentOS 7 as a result of the end-of-life for that operating system and then the end of CentOS 8, so we were able to move away from it without losing data and without having to rebuild VMs from scratch."
"When we moved from Red Hat to Rocky Linux, we saved around 70% of the cost which was used for subscriptions, and that money is now used for other things such as middleware applications and monitoring applications including DataDog and Dynatrace."
"The experience of working with Rocky Linux is the same as with other Linux distributions; there was no difficulty for me in learning how to work with it."

Cons

"LAMP Stack Debian can be improved by addressing the lack of a built-in caching mechanism."
"Regarding areas of LAMP Stack Debian that could be improved or enhanced, while it is very nice as is, one area might be the caching mechanism."
"The primary drawback of LAMP Stack Debian's hyper-focus on stability is that the software versions in the stable repository channels for PHP, MySQL, and MariaDB packages can become outdated quickly relative to the fast-moving web ecosystems."
"LAMP Stack Debian sometimes has concerns about the memory usage or speed, and sometimes competitors like Nginx or Lighttpd have better results in those areas."
"Rocky Linux could be improved by having more integration with Kubernetes."
"Rocky Linux could be improved with API-based tools that would help our streaming environment be monitored using DataMiner."
"The solution's audio integration for virtual machines could be improved."
"The only drawback we have seen is that even though there are timely deliveries of security patches and vulnerability fixes, the Rocky Linux Security Advisor or RLSA updates via the DNF utilities are broken or delayed."
"In terms of scalability, you need to have automation tools."
"To be honest, Rocky Linux is almost similar to each Linux distribution, so I have no specific reason why it should offer me its features."
"I chose a rating of eight out of ten because Rocky Linux must grow more; it is not as comparable to Red Hat, which is why I took off those two points."
"I see some performance-related issues, but we are still checking on that, and we don't know if it is related to the OS or the resource; that is something still to be checked from our end."
