Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Has helped streamline ticketing and change management while offering clear documentation support
Documentation and learning materials are available for Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, and if you check the vendor sites, you will find documents for each feature. I believe that short videos should be created and uploaded for newcomers to learn quickly since time can be limited. If a user believes in Ivanti, they should also believe in all its products including Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and Neurons because they are genuinely putting in hard work. This is reflected in the documentation, though I suggest they work on creating more videos. Other than that, you will find everything you need in the community site and documentation site. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Ivanti Neurons for ITSM an 8 out of 10.

Offers multi-tenancy architecture, both in terms of functionality and reporting, requires minimal configuration and no-code deployment
We're still biased towards our previous, more mature product. 4me still needs to reach that level of maturity. However, for most users, the product will do what they need. It's only when you have mature service management processes and need deeper integrations at the process level that you might encounter some limitations. But for less mature needs, 4me works well.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"There are ready plugins and connectors to integrate with APIs for common systems like Oracle or Microsoft."
"The immediate impact is administrative tasks which were traditionally done manually are now being done by robots. This reduces the workload for people."
"In finance, it has helped us deliver on productivity and provided us with FTE savings."
"After using AA for some of the flows, we identified that the execution time was reduced by 70% when compared to the other automation tool that we have been using for 8 years."
"Overall, this is a great tool because it's easy to maintain and it can reduce hiring costs, leading to reduced overall costs in the future."
"We have saved around 90% of the time that would be required to perform tasks manually."
"The best feature is the Capture action. If we want to capture the whole process, we can do it in a single shot."
"Our clients are always happy with the product and its performance."
"Ivanti Neurons for ITSM is a key tool and is very important to my service delivery efficiency."
"Everything in Ivanti Neurons for ITSM is excellent, and they are doing their best."
"They allow us to automate ticketing processes and create requests more efficiently, improving our overall support operations."
"The integrations are quite simple and clear."
"Understand that this product is a great investment."
"Our First Call Close rate for the Service Desk was 70-80% once we got all the workflows and Notes and Question screens populated."
"Overall, the platform, in its abilities, is really powerful, especially now with AI as a part of hyper-automation."
"The solution is easy to use and has a user-friendly interface."
"I like their request management as well as their project management."
"It offers a comprehensive set of features without requiring additional payments for each feature."
"The multi-tenancy architecture, both in terms of functionality and reporting, is the best feature. It is a really well-thought, designed, and developed part of this product."
"The solution is highly stable."
"When compared to BMC Helix ITSM, the 4me setup is much simpler and less complicated."

Cons

"We had several issues when trying to connect the different components, due to our firewalls. They were eventually solved by our internal IT and the AA technical team."
"I would like to see improvement in its scalability."
"One thing I learned with Co-Pilot is that it is very static. For instance, when dealing with tables and their headers, I must program them in a form. If my build changes, I have to return to my form and update the table titles. Features like looping are missing from Co-Pilot."
"Some of the things I have not appreciated about Automation Anywhere is that when I was setting it up at the beginning, it was a bit complex and it required some technical knowledge for me to set it up; however, there was documentation about its use that helped me in setting it up, but mostly the setup is a bit complex."
"Automation Anywhere's current requirement for upfront annual payments limits flexibility for customers."
"The solution could improve the integration with some web applications. It was difficult to manage them."
"Because I am using an older version, I am rating the scalability as a seven out of 10. I feel a lack of convenience when I try to scale it."
"To achieve a perfect ten, I would want to see new features working as expected and further advancements in automation."
"There is room for improvement in terms of response time. The support team takes a long time to respond."
"Currently, the solution only supports SOAP web services, but a REST interface is on the roadmap and has been confirmed for mid-next year."
"The support that we're currently getting is just not there."
"Support needs improvement in terms of responsiveness and timeliness."
"Ivanti Neurons for ITSM is not a user-friendly tool when compared to ServiceNow."
"Perhaps one area that could see enhancement is at the hardware level, particularly regarding endpoint control."
"They could provide product integration with popular platforms."
"We'd like more integration with solutions like SolarWinds."
"We're still biased towards our previous, more mature product. 4me still needs to reach that level of maturity."
"We would like to be able to customize and brand the solution, or at least the majority of its features and dashboards, particularly those that will be used by a large number of people."
"Asset Discovery is a feature that should be added."
"One area where I believe there's room for improvement in the 4me system is the absence of an asset discovery tool."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Automation Anywhere is expensive, making it more suitable for enterprise organizations."
"Complaints are generally about the cost of IQ Bot, which is higher than its competitors. The base model’s pricing is comparable to other platforms with attended, unattended, and IDP capabilities as well."
"If it is saving FTE and Generating a good ROI then it is Worth Investing."
"They recently launched a Community Edition, which is okay, but they should have done this a long time ago."
"Because it reduced the time duration of our processes, our costs went down."
"We have seen the tangible benefits of taking monotonous work off people's plates, creating capacity, and cost reductions."
"Our annual licensing costs are around $100,000 a year."
"We have saved time and money using this solution."
"The product is affordable for small businesses."
"The price is on the higher side. The support is included in the standard licensing fees."
"If you want to add more users who can handle support there will be additional fees. What we call our extensions, we need to pay more for. They tell us that we need to acquire more licenses or something like that. I think it's very expensive, because in terms the pula, our local currency, it's about 20,000 per license for each user. It is an annual fee."
"I came to know from my team members that my company used to operate ServiceNow but shifted to Ivanti Neurons for ITSM due to its low licensing prices."
"The licensing costs on the website are about $60 for pay-as-you-go. And then it decreases based on volume discounts or something."
"This pricing falls on the lower end of the spectrum, making it a cost-effective option."
"It is the most affordable because it is priced per month per user."
"The pricing is expensive."
