Solutions Architect at Parseq

A user-friendly solution that has a good user interface, but its technical support is not good enough

Around 20 to 25 staff members are needed to deploy and maintain the solution, including two managers, one architect, and other implementers. IBM Tivoli Asset Management for IT does not adopt the latest technology. The solution can be integrated with our existing IT environment through some web services and connectors. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

Good monitoring and alerting capability, and it is easy to deploy

This solution is good for configuration management. The monitoring capability is easy to use and it can be done without any training. ManageEngine is easy to deploy. It is easy to identify and collect information from all of the nodes on the network. The alerting capability is good and it will send out emails.

IBM Tivoli Asset Management for ITÂ is designed to help track and manage your hardware and software IT assets, with particular emphasis on inventory, asset life-cycle management, and license management. Asset Management for ITÂ includes inventory, asset tracking, asset reconciliation, financial management, contract management, procurement management, and, optionally, Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
