Druva Data Security Cloud is used with AWS cloud and is public only, with AWS serving as the backend infrastructure. The customer never receives billing for AWS, as the customer receives billing from Druva only. From my perspective, Druva Data Security Cloud is a mature product that uses AWS backup as a backend solution and is available on AWS Cloud. This product is mature, and we do not need to hesitate about it, as it has wider acceptance in the market. AI-driven analytics in Druva Data Security Cloud help to optimize data security by providing correct suggestions and prioritizing action. Given the amount of data security products available and the sprawl of information and tickets that get raised with various concerns that come up, AI is definitely necessary to drill down.

Real-time data monitoring and policy-based activity blocking enhance security and awareness
The development mode on the platform needs improvement. For example, the archiving functionalities should be enhanced to allow easy conversion of archived logs into CSV or Excel formats for data analysis. When I need to investigate with archived data, the inability to export to these formats can be limiting. Making this process easier would be beneficial for reviews.

Pros

"From my perspective, Druva Data Security Cloud is a mature product that uses AWS backup as a backend solution and is available on AWS Cloud."
"Over the past five years, I haven't experienced any issues or problems with Druva."
"The centralized management console in this solution and AI-driven analytics are good features."
"The most valuable feature of Druva is that it can detect changes in files or laptops and perform incremental backups."
"Imperva's most valuable features are ease of use and log correlation. I also like the ability to trace activity from the host machine to the server access, the user details, and the exact query that they executed. If a database administrator or application process executes a query on the database, people know exactly what was executed, including all the variables."
"The tool's pricing is flexible and affordable for small and medium enterprises."
"The most valuable feature is the Data Masking."
"They have very good documentation and knowledgebase resources that add to the depth of their support."

"I would rate Druva Data Security Cloud an eight on a scale from one to ten because there are better solutions available in the market in terms of security that give a better stack."
"I suggest improvements in the time it takes to restore data."
"I suggest improvements in the time it takes to restore data."
"One area for improvement is the inclusion of a load balancer in on-premises solutions."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We have all the licenses, which we pay for annually. The price is a little high, but the product is good."
"Pricing is low and scalable to add features and volume."
"The pricing over-all depends on the entry level. For example, if support and maintenance are about $20,000 - $25,000, the initial cost can be five times more. It is less expensive for the company to maintain the client than to make the deployment."
"Imperva SecureSphere Database Security was quite expensive several years ago, but now they provide a subscription plan for licensing. It is available now for smaller and medium-sized companies, not only large enterprises."
"They have introduced new price models, which makes the product more affordable now."
"The product is expensive."
"The price of the solution is reasonable and it requires a license."
"Imperva is too expensive for small and medium-sized enterprises. They're missing out on technology that helps them manage their data security better. Data security is essential because even the strongest network may be attacked from the inside without it."
