Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The real advantage to Dell when I look at some of the other competitors is the support.""Their support is very good and very effective.""Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers have been stable and reliable over the last decade.""The reliability of its hardware and the support they provide are valuable.""The reconstructive compatibility with VMware ESXi is the most valuable.""The ease of setting them up is valuable. It is easy to set them up.""The solution's lifecycle management with iDRAC works really well, and it is a valuable feature because it helps with maintenance and keeping track of what we have in our company.""Any necessary adjustments can be made seamlessly without the need to unplug cables, as everything is contained within the rack itself."

Cons
"We use Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers in the data center. We put the racks in bays. They can improve the compactness so that we can put more of them.""The server itself is good, but sometimes, the salesperson forgets to sell us the right controller. It is related to sales. It is not related to the technical part.""They should improve the centralized management interface. When you are going to deploy something, for example, VMware or RedHat, it should be easier to deploy a lot of servers. Now you have to do one at a time.""Overall, the solution is excellent, though Dell could improve the monitoring.""It is hard to make a comparison without any technical factsheets for the other servers to compare with but like everyone else, it is about the pricing.""I would like to see more information about server health and the server's state, on the front. HP has a little screen that shows server utilization, how many disks there are inside, and the power consumption. HP also shows an alert if there is a malfunction of any device inside.""We wanted to have two storage cards during the onboarding process of the solution, which were available only on the more expensive version of the boxes that we usually use for work in our company.""The price is the only thing that can be improved."

"In the next release, I'd like to see more features not in the hardware but in the platform where I can manage all the servers and the hardware of the servers."
