Has handled backup storage needs reliably and supports seamless upgrades
In environments requiring high throughput and low latency, Pure Storage FlashBlade provides high throughput and normal latency, but we do not have any application that requires low latency right now, so the latency of three to five milliseconds is considered kind of high. Pure Storage FlashBlade's ability to integrate with enterprise applications is not important for us, as we only want to present an S3 bucket for our backup, which we have done, and it works very fast. We use the Purity software's data reduction techniques; we have a backup software that compresses everything before sending it to the S3 bucket, achieving a data reduction of 1.1 to one. I would recommend Pure Storage FlashBlade to other companies because it's a very fast and scalable solution for anyone who needs it. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution an 8.

High availability and user-friendliness enhance infrastructure health and redundancy
I would rate technical support from DataCore SANsymphony a 10. Each time I contact the technical support, it's when I don't have a choice because it's very difficult for me on site, and each time, I have good people online who are able to help me solve the problem. Usually, the problems are not very technically difficult, but sometimes they are, and the support team is still there to help us resolve them. The majority of the problems are linked to licensing, so when the license has expired or the number is not correct, they are proactive and change things live, which is very good.

Our company needed IOPS to solve the bottleneck on the storage side, but storage upgrade costs were awful. We achieved IOPS values nearly 6-10 times faster without any hardware upgrades.
Incredible IOPS increase in storage: IOPS is required to fulfill a disk job faster. It is input/output per second. When you request a report on your SQL server, you need as much as IOPS you can. So many IT guys put their most important databases on SSD disks to reach the maximum IOPS within their storage. But SSD disks are still so expensive. On the other hand, if you have multiple VDI systems in different locations, you will experience boot storm every morning on your VM servers. You need IOPS to handle this problem and it leads you to buying more SSD. With FVP deployment, you create more IOPS than by adding SSD disks, with a lower rice. Additionally, you will be able to create tiering across your clusters. * Architect dashboard tool: You can see the overall performance of your FVP cluster. It even provides valuable info that VMware can't report to the user about the VM performance. You can add sources on your cluster or move VM systems among tiered clusters. Also, it is possible to see the amount of latency decrease and IOPS created without adding any SSDs to the storage. * Low initial cost * Works with different flash resources such as NV PCI cards, memory and SSD * Ease of use * Stability
