It's more scalable and flexible than our previous solution because we don't need to install any agents
The reporting works well, but sometimes the severity classifications are inaccurate. Sometimes, it flags an issue as high-impact, but it should be a lower severity. For example, it might highlight an exposed AWS encryption key, a critical compliance issue, but it isn't tagged as a high-risk problem. That only happens about 10 percent of the time. It shows a true positive 80-90 percent of the time.

Has improved threat detection accuracy and helped monitor endpoints across hybrid environments
The most valuable capabilities of CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security relate to preventing attacks caused by human error, such as when someone plugs in a USB device or downloads something without caution. It automatically blocks duplication and activities that could result in data loss, effectively preventing unintended copying of data to personal devices. Deduplication prevention is definitely the most valuable feature. CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security excels in threat detection with a vast investigation structure, allowing us to verify suspicious activities to identify root causes. It helps us trace back to the origin and fix issues, making it a user-friendly tool for this kind of detection. CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is built on AI and ML technology, enabling it to detect various threats and block suspicious activities immediately, which is particularly effective compared to traditional AVs and EDRs. The analytics provided by CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is key for maintaining a proactive security posture. Its AI and ML foundations offer extensive information on threats and suspicious activities, making it renowned for analysis in the industry.

Helps efficiently in incident response management and has an easy setup process
I can view the alarms within the platform and subsequently implement various security measures in response. It assists with incident response by providing alerts and visual representations of different security events. However, the effectiveness can vary, and sometimes more effort is required for resolution. DDoS attacks, including detection of DTO POS and identification of malicious IPs, are critical aspects of security to ensure the availability and performance of your systems. The real-time monitoring feature provides enough services to meet the requirements of our security infrastructure. I rate Redware Cloud Native Protector a ten out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Overall, I would rate it a ten on ten for cloud security."
"The most valuable features are automated threat response, AI detection, and static and dynamic detection."
"Atlas security graph is pretty cool. It maps out relationships between components on AWS, like load balancers and servers. This helps visualize potential attack paths and even suggests attack paths a malicious actor might take."
"Cloud Native Security's evidence-based reporting allows us to prioritize issues by understanding their impact, helping us resolve the most important problems first."
"The multi-cloud support is valuable. They are expanding to different clouds. It is not restricted to only AWS. It allows us to have different clouds on one platform."
"Singularity Cloud Native Security provides us with a platform to scan instances when they are getting created, and the dashboard helps us to identify the critical issues."
"The Offensive Security Engine, powered by impressive AI/ML capabilities, seamlessly integrates with cloud infrastructure to analyze data and provide optimal security solutions."
"Overall, I would rate SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security a ten out of ten."
"The immediate mitigation of potential threats and instant alerts are valuable."
"We like the solution's management and monitoring tools for our network. We use it to monitor our network between workstations and outside our organization. The AI provides useful visualizations of our network on a dashboard."
"Falcon is a cloud-based technology, so its resource usage is light. You deploy the agents to your endpoints, but the processing is done on the cloud, so you're CPU utilization is only about 2 percent. Some others solutions use between 30 to 60 percent."
"The solution has login features like multi factor authentication."
"It provides alerts on suspicious command executions, helping us safeguard our systems."
"I think the overall solution should be rated a ten out of ten."
"I have contacted customer service, and they are fast."
"It's easy to gather insights and conduct analysis about existing threats."
"The initial setup process is easy and intuitive."
"It helps us in reaching the ISO27001 certification."

Cons

"There should be more documentation about the product."
"The area of improvement is the cost, which is high compared to other traditional endpoint protections."
"Whenever I view the processes and the process aspect, it takes a long time to load."
"I used to work on AWS. At times, I would generate a normal bug in my system, and then I would check SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security. The alert used to come after about three and a half hours. It used to take that long to generate the alert about the vulnerability in my system. If a hacker attacks a system and SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security takes three to four hours to generate an alert, it will not be beneficial for the company. It would be helpful if we get the alert in five to ten minutes."
"SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security has limited legacy system support and may not fully support older operating systems or legacy environments."
"The alerting system of the product is an area that I look at and sometimes get confused about. I feel the alerting feature needs improvement."
"Currently, we would have to export our vulnerability report to an .xlsx file, and review it in an Excel spreadsheet, and then we sort of compile a list from there. It would be cool if there was a way to actually toggle multiple applications for review and then see those file paths on multiple users rather than only one user at a time or only one application at a time."
"With Cloud Native Security, we can't selectively enable or disable alerts based on our specific use case."
"For the past six months, we have been facing some issues. Because it is a cloud-based infrastructure, it has been getting slower."
"The UI part needs to be improved."
"There are no bugs because they release updates continuously. We highly appreciate that, but during hunting or running a query on different logs, the time frame has increased in the past six months. It takes longer to give us the results."
"The main area for improvement is pricing, as it is quite expensive."
"The improvements needed for CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security include reducing its high cost, which is currently quite expensive, and enhancing the executive reports that are user-friendly for technical engineers but require improvement for higher management."
"The tool should do some more tests before going for updates automatically."
"In terms of improvement, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security could expand into the remediation path."
"It gets the work done, but the main problem with the solution is that if you remediate anything, it takes 45 days for you to get any of the features displayed on the dashboard. This is the real weakness of CrowdStrike. Their customer support is also not ready to help with it. If you remediate any cloud vulnerability that they are giving you, such as removing a host from your organization, it takes around 45 days for them to remove it from their console."
"The platform’s interface needs enhancement."
"The solution needs automatic testing."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost for PingSafe is average when compared to other CSPM tools."
"SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security is costly."
"PingSafe falls somewhere in the middle price range, neither particularly cheap nor expensive."
"It is not that expensive. There are some tools that are double the cost of PingSafe. It is good on the pricing side."
"PingSafe is priced reasonably for our workload."
"The pricing is somewhat high compared to other market tools."
"Pricing is based on modules, which was ideal for us."
"SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security is on the costlier side."
"It's an expensive package but does what it says it will do."
"It's an expensive product"
"Its price is moderate."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is very expensive for us. Last month, we had a big issue that took much time and money to resolve. It slowed down our business and required our management team to get involved. We had a problem similar to the "Blue Screen of Death" issue many US companies faced. This incident used up many of our IT resources in just a few months. That's why we're looking for a replacement tool now."
"The pricing is reasonable, neither overly expensive nor excessively cheap, making it competitive compared to other market options."
"The pricing is fair for what you get. I'd rate them a solid nine out of ten in terms of pricing."
"The price is not too high, it is okay."
"I am not the one who handled the pricing. A different team worked on it, but it is pretty expensive."
