Customer journey insights have guided UX changes and now streamline our digital decisions
The best features ContentSquare offers include heatmaps, PII masking, GDPR compliance, good performance, and customer journey analytics. The feature that has made the biggest difference for my team is that ContentSquare is now a step ahead of the competition since it delivers insights based on predefined business KPIs and customer journeys that we have set up. We can also segment our traffic and easily shift through the many recordings, finding the ones that match our lookup criteria. The new non-flash interface is clean and simple to use and has all the functionality centralized. ContentSquare has positively impacted my organization, and it has helped us to integrate with analytic and optimization solutions and also helped us in identifying barriers in the customer journey.

Experimentation has empowered data‑driven UI decisions and supports safe remote rollouts
In my opinion, the best features Eppo offers are its intuitive UI and dashboard, which are very intuitive. The experimentation capabilities are also excellent, as Eppo offers the ability to experiment on different new UI designs, algorithms, and machine learning models to see how they impact user behavior. Eppo has positively impacted our organization so far because we can better plan our future releases. If something fails in the production environment, we can easily roll back that feature without having to wait for the whole app cycle review that Apple and Android require, so users are not immediately impacted if something fails in the production environment.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"When we understand which step of the user journey users experience the most struggles and fix it by running A/B tests, we see better results and positive impacts on the business side."
"ContentSquare has positively impacted my organization by increasing sales, reducing traffic on pages that were obsolete or we needed to revise, and it has increased our customer base."
"The feature that I loved most was Session Replay, which made it super useful because it allowed us to filter to the specific issue that we were investigating at the time."
"ContentSquare has impacted my organization positively by helping us analyze user experience much faster."
"ContentSquare allows me to know how users use my website, see where users entered and exited, and see the bugs on the website, helping us understand which page performs better than another and why, so we can improve the future."
"The best features ContentSquare offers are the visual analytics, which I use and appreciate the most because they help me decide what to keep and what to remove from my website, leading to improved engagement, higher conversions, and time saved for my team."
"I really appreciate the mapping features that ContentSquare offers."
"Overall, I improved the new checkout conversion rate by approximately six percentage points compared to the previous version."
"Based on my exploration, I find Eppo to be more powerful in providing result-oriented, data-oriented results for feature flagging and experiments."
"Eppo has positively impacted our organization so far because we can better plan our future releases."

Cons

"Analyzing recordings leads to answers that can be overly generic and repetitive, making them less useful after some time."
"Another disadvantage of ContentSquare is the pricing, which is significantly more expensive compared to other competitors."
"Improvements could be made around the integrations, specifically how ContentSquare plugs into Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics or newer tooling like FullStory."
"ContentSquare's scalability is poor. As I was saying, every property is individual, separate from the others."
"Time and resources to use the tool are not always worth the investment."
"However, in terms of bounce rates, there was some confusion since ContentSquare's bounce rate didn't match what we observed in Google Analytics."
"ContentSquare is sometimes very slow, so I have noticed some performance issues."
"ContentSquare could be improved because sometimes the numbers do not stay the same when I check them at different times."
"It is too early to say if we have seen a return on investment."
