We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I like Wiz's reporting, and it's easy to do queries. For example, it's pretty simple to find out how many servers we have and the applications installed on each. I like Wiz's security graph because you can use it to see the whole organization even if you have multiple accounts.""The solution is very user-friendly.""The first thing that stood out was the ease of installation and the quick value we got out of the solution.""Our most important features are those around entitlement, external exposure, vulnerabilities, and container security.""The product supports out-of-the-box reporting with context about the asset and allows us to perform complex custom queries on UI.""The vulnerability management modules and the discovery and inventory are the most valuable features. Before using Wiz, it was a very manual process for both. After implementing it, we're able to get all of the analytics into a single platform that gives us visibility across all the systems in our cloud. We're able to correspond and understand what the vulnerability landscape looks like a lot faster.""Out of all the features, the one item that has been most valuable is the fact that Wiz puts into context all the pieces that create an issue, and applies a particular risk evaluation that helps us prioritize when we need to address a misconfiguration, vulnerability, or any issue that would put our environment into risk.""The CSPM module has been the most effective. It was easy to deploy and covered all our accounts through APIs, requiring no agents. Wiz provides instant visibility into high-level risks that we need to address."

"The technical support is good.""Many websites require an SSL certificate because they sell stuff and want SSL. Cloudflare comes with an SSL certificate built in. It's automatic. You sign yourself up for Cloudflare, and an SSL certificate automatically protects your website. You don't necessarily need a certificate if you have a connection between your website and your host, the server, Cloudflare, and the host.""The most valuable feature of Cloudflare is the GUI. You are able to control the solution very well through the interface. There is a lot of functionality that is embedded in the service.""The solution provides good load balancing and protection against DDoS attacks.""It is easier to configure and develop documentation to see how we have configured firewalls.""What I like best about Cloudflare is that my company can use it to trace and manage applications and monitor traffic. The solution tells you if there's a spike in traffic. Cloudflare also sends you a link to check your equipment and deployment and track it through peering, so it's a valuable tool.""The most valuable feature is the web application firewall.""There are key things that are used for our enterprise customers, such as Lambda and DNS."

More Cloudflare Pros →

"Cloud security posture management (CSPM) is most valuable.""Technical support is helpful.""CrowdStrike utilizes signatureless technology, eliminating the need for regular signature updates on endpoint systems.""The immediate mitigation of potential threats and instant alerts are valuable.""The most valuable feature of Falcon Cloud Security is its comprehensive threat-hunting ability.""Cloud security is one valuable feature. Spotlight is the other one. There is also vulnerability management and a couple of more features.""It is fully cloud-based, so we don't need to invest in third-party agents repeatedly.""The most significant benefit is how quickly malware and other malicious attacks are detected."

Cons
"The only thing that needs to be improved is the number of scans per day.""The reporting isn't that great. They have executive summaries, but it's only a compliance report that maps all current issues to specific controls. Whether you look at one subscription or project, regardless of the size, you will get a multipage report on how the issues in that account map to that control. Our CSO isn't going to read through that. He won't filter that out or show that to his leadership and say, "Here's what we're doing." It isn't a helpful report. They're working on it, but it's a poor executive summary.""We would like to see improvements to executive-level reporting and data reporting in general, which we understand is being rolled out to the platform.""Wiz's reporting capabilities could be refined a bit. They are making headway on that, but more executive-style dashboards would be nice. They just implemented a community aspect where you can share documents and feedback. This was something users had been requesting for a while. They are listening to customer feedback and making changes.""We wish there were a way, beyond providing visibility and automated remediation, to wait on a given remediation, due to a critical aspect, such as the cost associated with a particular upgrade... We would like to see preventive controls that can be applied through Wiz to protect against vulnerabilities that we're not going to be able to remediate immediately.""The remediation workflow within the Wiz could be improved.""One significant issue is that the searches are case-sensitive, so finding a misconfigured resource can become very challenging.""The only small pain point has been around some of the logging integrations. Some of the complexities of the script integrations aren't supported with some of the more automated infrastructure components. So, it's not as universal. For example, they have great support for cloud formation and other services, but if you're using another type of management utility or governance language for your infrastructure-as-code automation components, it becomes a little bit trickier to navigate that."

More Wiz Cons →

"It should confirm audit findings of the assigned area with auditees to ensure that the audit conclusions are based on an accurate understanding of the issues.""There should be a specific price list for enterprise-level customers.""Latencies are always a problem.""There are some issues with the CDN services.""The product needs to improve its automation.""I would like Cloudflare to offer a dedicated account manager for large enterprise clients like us.""The solution could work at being less expensive. It costs a lot to use it.""It would be beneficial for us if Cloudflare could offer a scrubbing solution. This would involve taking a snapshot of my website and keeping it live during a DDoS attack, ensuring uninterrupted service for our users. DDoS attacks are typically short in duration, and having Cloudflare maintain the site's availability from its secure network would enhance the overall user experience. I would appreciate it if Cloudflare could consider implementing this feature. Many organizations already utilize similar capabilities in their CDN platforms, where a static snapshot of the web page is displayed during DDoS attacks. In terms of features, Cloudflare needs to enhance its resilience and stay more focused on adopting new technologies. For instance, solutions like F5 XC Box, Access Solution, and Distributed Cloud Solution have impressive features, and Cloudflare should strive to match and exceed those capabilities. There's a need for improvement in areas like AI-based DDoS attacks and Layer 7 WAF features. Cloudflare should prioritize enhancements in areas such as behavioral DDoS and protection against SQL injection attacks, considering the prevalent trend of public exposure to the internet for business reasons. Overall, Cloudflare needs to invest more in advancing its feature set."

More Cloudflare Cons →

"The CrowdStrike dashboard currently lacks a username field.""One area for improvement in Falcon Cloud Security is the support portal.""The log scale or Humio side of it where it collects the data and expands into the XDR world still needs time to develop in terms of the way it combines the data and metadata that flows into the platform. I know they're working on it.""The UI part needs to be improved.""There should be cloud storage scanning. We would like to have cloud storage vulnerability and threat management on any cloud storage.""CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is expensive.""Different file options should be available, and clients should be able to select from the options.""The only suggestion for improvement would be the pricing."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing seems pretty simple. We don't have to do a lot of calculations to figure out what the components are. They do it by enabling specific features, either basics or advanced, which makes it easy to select."
  • "The pricing is fair. Some of the more advanced features and functionalities and how the tiers are split can be somewhat confusing."
  • "The pricing is fair and comparable to their competitors. The cost seems to be going up, which is a concern. There are potential savings from consolidating tools, but we're uncertain how Wiz's pricing will change over time."
  • "I wish the pricing was more transparent."
  • "The cost of the other solutions is comparable to Wiz."
  • More Wiz Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "So far I use free tier and happy with it. You can subscribe to business package if needed."
  • "I think the pricing is competitive. I think as far as licensing is concerned it's pretty straightforward because it's based on domain. It's just that sometimes domains could be tricky with some customers."
  • "There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fees."
  • "The cost primarily depends on the size of the organization."
  • "We don't have any issues with the price."
  • "The price is reasonable."
  • "The solution is expensive when compared to other products but offers unlimited bandwidth."
  • "It's a premium model. You can start at zero and work your way up to the enterprise model, which has a very high pricing level."
  • More Cloudflare Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The pricing is fair for what you get. I'd rate them a solid nine out of ten in terms of pricing."
  • "I am not the one who handled the pricing. A different team worked on it, but it is pretty expensive."
  • "CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is pricy."
  • "The pricing is reasonable, neither overly expensive nor excessively cheap, making it competitive compared to other market options."
  • "Its price is moderate."
