Experienced easy deployment and stable performance but user support needs improvement
The most valuable features are that BetterCloud had a much more sophisticated workflow management toolset than Google itself. It was easy to build onboarding and offboarding workflows, which could handle the desired complexity versus out-of-the-box Google. BetterCloud allowed us to reallocate storage so all files created by a departing member would get reallocated to the manager, thus retaining access. BetterCloud saved help desk time by automating processes, providing a reasonable return on investment. BetterCloud now offers SaaS platform tracking capabilities, a key, previously missing feature.

Stable product, key part of cybersecurity strategy but country-specific configuration issues requiring manual work
The onboarding process wasn't inherently complex, but it did take some time to open ports and configure the server. We're using three components of DLP: Endpoint DLP, email DLP, and web DLP. Web DLP isn't fully configured yet because we don't have a proxy. Email DLP took some additional coordination with a third party, and our Office 365 API, but those challenges were resolved. We have it installed and deployed on-premises. We have a partner who maintains it. It covers around 3,000 endpoints. It's deployed across our branches, factories, warehouses, and head office. It covers all endpoints in those locations. The deployment took some time due to our different locations.

Cons

"The account support team was weak in engagement and communication, contributing to the decision to move to more comprehensive solutions."
"The SaaS solution needs improvement, especially the malware-centric part, although the CASB is better but mostly data-centric. The after-sale support could also be improved."
"The deployment is a little bit difficult. It requires two to three separate servers for databases and the application."
"From an end user's perspective, it's not always clear what's happening with the DLP. It would be beneficial to have more use cases available, perhaps on a countrywide basis."
