Standardized our Java estate and have reduced licensing costs while maintaining strong support
Azul Zulu's ability to allow us to standardize our Java estate on a single and well-supported platform stands out as one of its best features. This standardization simplifies our compliance audits and ensures all our applications receive timely security updates.Azul Zulu positively impacts our organization by providing a platform that allows us to standardize Java on a well-supported platform. Without the high cost associated with other proprietary vendors, Azul Zulu provides an excellent platform for running our applications.

User-friendly content creation with intuitive simplicity and impressive results
It offers several significant advantages over working with human presenters. When creating learning templates with humans, you often face challenges such as multiple takes, script errors, and discomfort in front of the camera. With this solution, you can select avatars, write scripts, and ensure flawless delivery, eliminating these issues. There is no need for post-production as the content is ready to be shared as soon as it's created. It enables to easily modify the content, and the original link will be automatically updated. This is a significant improvement over the traditional approach, where errors or updates necessitate taking down content, re-recording, and reposting. Another remarkable aspect is its user-friendliness. It's so straightforward that I believe most people could use it right out of the gate. Personally, I started using it without any prior research or watching tutorial videos, and it was remarkably intuitive and easy to navigate.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We've had no issues with stability."
"We achieved specific outcomes from using Azul Zulu by reducing our Java licensing and support costs by approximately 70% when compared to our previous Oracle contract."
"In terms of the product's initial setup, I can say that it is extremely user-friendly."
"The solution helps us save time."
"The initial setup process is interesting and user-friendly."
"The feature I find most valuable is animation."
"The AI is the most valuable feature."
"Synthesia gave us the ability to create high-quality learning content quickly."
"Before Synthesia, recording a 20-minute script could take about one to two days. I had to review the recording to find background noise and edit it. If any change was identified, I had to redo the project. However, with Synthesia, I can have a recording within 20 minutes. It would only need minor tweaks. You could tell the difference between AI recording and human recording, but it improved the course of time in which we made the recording. Our Japanese customers didn't believe that it was AI voice. The tool's most valuable feature is quickly converting text into a usable audio format. It converts quality text to audio with an accent appropriate for regional dialects."
"It is very easy to make changes in the script and works well with other programs as well."

Cons

"It needs a better update daemon. At this time the process is manual and could be an issue on multiple desktop deployments."
"Improvements for Azul Zulu could include more automated tools for unused code visibility integrated directly into the standard portal to help further optimize our cloud footprints."
"Synthesia's compatibility with different learning patterns could be improved. I use it with Squarespace, and it's easy, but it could be better with other elements."
"The AI avatars are good, but sometimes they have unnatural movements. The lip-syncing needs to be improved."
"Synthesia is an expensive, high-end product, and its pricing could be a bit cheaper."
"The digital avatars must be refined."
"I have encountered glitches while working with Synthesia for an extended period. I would also like to see multiple avatars on the same screen for non-singular representation."
"Synthesia's video editor needs to be improved."
"There could be animation features for Avatars. It would help us create cartoon animations."
"There could be an option to create custom Avatars. Additionally, the product’s technical support team’s response time needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The solution is a little pricey and should be made cheaper."
"The platform provides different licensing plans."
"The new pricing is fair and competitive. It compares well to other options on the market. The cost ranges from three dollars to approximately twenty-nine or even thirty dollars, with some specialized packages reaching the thirty-dollar mark."
"Synthesia is a reasonable and competitively-priced product."
"Synthesia's pricing for the basic accounts is okay, but it would be better if it could be reduced."
"The solution is cost-effective and relatively cheap."
"I have seen a return on investment. The quality of the videos produced is better than if I had to create and edit them myself. It's much easier using Synthesia."
"It begins at around four thousand dollars for a full subscription, and although the price per subscription decreases when purchasing more, it can still be a bit of a hurdle, especially for limited content needs."
