Asset discovery has transformed how we find unprotected devices and deploy endpoint defenses
The best features Axonius offers, in my opinion, are asset discovery, finding rogue devices, and vulnerability management. When I mention device discovery and management, the speed of discovery, the level of detail, and network-level discovery stand out to me. Axonius has positively impacted my organization significantly, as we discover thousands upon thousands of devices that don't have EDR tools, which means they are not protected. With Axonius, we were able to find them and deploy the EDR tool that they needed. I can share that we found about the Linux servers and Windows servers, hundreds of them, that were deployed. They were re-imaged and didn't have an EDR tool, and the integration with other tools proved that these devices are live on our network, and they just don't have a specific tool that we need to deploy to them.

Enhanced endpoint security with effective patch management and frequent scans
The most valuable feature was the patch management, which was very effective for endpoint-centric solutions requiring remediation of vulnerabilities. ManageEngine Vulnerability Manager Plus was the perfect fit for managing these requirements. We improved the number of scans and patches performed from four times per year per computer to four times per month.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"he best feature I found in Axonius is that it shows us the duration of eCheck, and it shows us what device is down and in which part of the system life cycle or the checking part the system is down in."
"Axonius has positively impacted my organization significantly, as we discover thousands upon thousands of devices that don't have EDR tools, which means they are not protected."
"In comparing Axonius to other products, I believe its main competitors on the market offer similar functionalities, but my experience with other solutions has shown me that Axonius stands out."
"The automation capabilities in Axonius have streamlined our security operations."
"With this solution in place, we are now 100% compliant along with security functions or operations area management."
"Axonius offers excellent features including ease of use, the ability to ingest all assets at one central display, creating multiple visualization dashboards, the ability to create an enforcement center to complete tasks and support the program, and support for government operations."
"I like that the tool has a user-friendly interface. It helps organizations and big companies improve business requirements and control processes."
"Overall, I would rate Axonius an eight out of ten."
"ManageEngine is a comprehensive tool that is broad and can be customized to fit specific needs."
"The solution helps us figure out vulnerabilities and fix them."
"I have been using it for over two years, and it is fantastic."
"The most valuable feature was the patch management, which was very effective for endpoint-centric solutions requiring remediation of vulnerabilities."

Cons

"Adding more detailed descriptions or YouTube videos about specific features would help improve the application."
"Axonius can improve on delivering compliance-related features."
"Axonius needs to improve by having the ability to ingest IoT data, as customers are requesting IoT data which we are currently unable to provide."
"For Axonius, I would suggest supporting more ticketing platforms and enhancing API integration directly into the platform rather than just the connector. This would allow for better integration from different systems, possibly into workflows, which I think is currently lacking."
"I think Axonius can be improved with more integration with different third-party tools, so we can identify which tools are missing and what more we can do with these endpoint devices floating around on our network."
"For us, the product's deployment phase was a little challenging because we had to deal with other departments and business units."
"Regarding the improvement of Axonius, it goes halfway for both the tool and the user. If we set it up quickly from our end, and if the AD groups and all other groups assigned to tag the assets have been tagged correctly, Axonius could not show an error."
"One area Axonius can be improved is its integration process, as it is not straightforward; there is a lot involved in cloning the instance and other hard changes that I expect to be fully automated, suggesting an agentless method instead of utilizing agents, which feels somewhat legacy but could be improved."
"One area that needs improvement is the contract management. My legal team required some partner requirements for that, and ManageEngine could not support it."
"The user interface is the only drawback of the product."
"The integration with third-party solutions such as ticketing solutions or CMDB solutions can be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice
