Have experienced several challenges while managing certificate lifecycle processes
The renewal function and automated certificate renewal are very helpful for our operations. AWS Certificate Manager provides central control of certificate lifecycle management, which helps to improve security. It streamlines the process and reduces human error. I use ACM Private Certificate Authority for additional security measures. I see benefits of using AWS Certificate Manager in integration with AWS for secure data transmission. I see a positive impact in managing SSL and TLS certificates, which simplifies compliance and reduces risk.

Centralized secrets have improved CI/CD security and now streamline credential rotation
IBM HashiCorp Security Lifecycle Management can be improved in that initial setup and policy configuration can take some time, especially for teams that are new to Vault and its concepts. I would also appreciate simpler administration and more straightforward troubleshooting because some configuration issues can require digging through logs and documentation. I would also improve the user experience around monitoring and day-to-day administration in IBM HashiCorp Security Lifecycle Management. Some tasks are quite straightforward once you understand the platform, but the learning curve can be higher for new team members. Better guided workflows with clearer error messages would help. One area I would improve in IBM HashiCorp Security Lifecycle Management is the overall reporting and visibility experience. It would be useful to have more out-of-the-box dashboards for access patterns, policy compliance, and secret life status without needing as much customization.
