Fraud controls have protected patient portals and now support trusted digital healthcare access
Arkose can be improved in several ways. Integration complexity requires alignment with healthcare IT systems, which is an area where Arkose is currently lagging. There is a need to balance security versus patient experience, as overly strict controls frustrate legitimate users who want to access the patient portal without excessive restrictions. Evolving threats present another challenge. Every day, fraudsters use generative AI to mimic human behavior, which requires Arkose to continually improve its threat detection. Since Arkose handles different systems that need to be controlled over time, there should be regular audits to determine which features need adjustment. Cost-wise, the platform requires improvement, as there is significant cost involved and considerable manual intervention needed, which should be brought into the AI automation. On an everyday basis, patient login verification sometimes experiences delays when internet issues occur, causing patients to wait long in queue. Insurance claims validation does not always happen easily due to application environment downtime. These operational improvements need to be addressed in Arkose Labs systems.

Weka can be improved in some areas. As a one-year user, I can share my experiences. I have tried installing other packages into Weka using the inbuilt package manager or adding modern algorithms that I wish to apply to my data sets or data processing. I think Weka needs to improve in that and also in integrating Python into Weka, which would help users much more. I chose eight out of ten because we need improvements in Weka, such as installing inbuilt packages. Weka uses skips such as N+2 or N+4 and eight-node, which makes sense basically, but I think it should improve in the package attribute, such as configuring Python easily and adding modern algorithms into Weka more easily.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I also like that they challenge crawling in CAPTCHA for mobile. This is good compared to the traditional way."
"The interface is very good, and the algorithms are the very best."
"In Weka, anyone can access the program without being a programmer, which is a good feature since the entry cost is very low."
"If they want their task done faster, and they do not have enough coding expertise, this is definitely an excellent solution to choose from."
"I like the machine algorithm for clustering systems. Weka has larger capabilities. There are multiple algorithms that can be used for clustering. It depends upon the user requirements. For clustering, I've used DBSCAN, whereas for supervised learning, I've used AVM and RFT."
"Weka eliminates the need for coding, allowing you to easily set parameters and complete the majority of the machine learning task with just a few clicks."
"Weka is a very nice tool, it needs very small requirements. If I want to implement something in Python, I need a lot of memory and space but Weka is very lightweight. Anyone can implement any kind of algorithm, and we can show the results immediately to the client using the one-page feature. The client always wants to know the story. They want the result."
"It is a stable product."
"Weka is very easy to use, is very complete, and provides many benefits to the end user."

Cons

"Integration complexity requires alignment with healthcare IT systems, which is an area where Arkose is currently lagging."
"Arkose need to provide something for testing."
"The solution doesn’t really have very good technical support."
"The filter section lacks some specific transformation tools. If you want to change a variable from a numeric variable to a categorical variable, you don't have a feature that can enable you to change a variable from a numeric variable to a categorical variable."
"If there are a lot more lines of code, then we should use another language."
"Weka is a little complicated and not necessarily suited for users who aren't skilled and experienced in data science."
"Weka could be more stable."
"With Python and R, you can do anything — you have that confidence, but with Weka, I don't have that confidence."
"Weka is not horizontally scalable. If I had to run a large dataset over Weka I would have to have a very large usage."
"Not particularly user friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Currently, I am using an open-source version so I don't know much about the price of this solution."
"The solution is free and open-source."
"As far as I know, Weka is a freeware tool, and I am not aware if they have an online solution or if it is a commercial product."
"We use the free version now. My faculty is very small."
