Modern endpoint management has transformed onboarding and strengthened remote security controls
The features of Microsoft Intune are straightforward, including Windows Autopilot, zero-touch deployment, centralized device management, and conditional access security controls. Using zero-touch deployment and Windows Autopilot in Microsoft Intune has significantly improved my workflow and organization. New laptops are shipped directly to users with no IT handling needed, and there is no manual imaging or configuration required. These features have a real impact. They save hours of manual setup per device, reduce dependency on the IT team for basic provisioning, and ensure every system is configured consistently and securely. Microsoft Intune has positively impacted my organization by improving device management. Devices are managed from a single cloud console. It has reduced manual work for provisioning and configuration. It has faster onboarding using Autopilot. It has enhanced security posture through enforced compliance policies, encryption, antivirus, and password rules. Conditional access ensures only trusted devices can access resources. I have better support for remote users, as devices can be managed from anywhere with no dependency on office network or VPN for basic management. It has easy troubleshooting and policy updates.

Remote support has reduced client visits and saves us significant time and costs
The best features that AnyDesk offers in my experience are the remote control and remote access. Those features are valuable to me because of the ease in how you connect remotely without necessarily installing AnyDesk on your computer. You just download the application, open it, and it gives you your address. You share this with your colleague or client, and then in just one click you are connected. Another feature I appreciate about AnyDesk is security. If you are trying to do something that requires administrator rights of the computer that you are working on, it will alert you and request that the person on the other end accept the operation that you are doing. That security feature is excellent. AnyDesk has positively impacted my organization by helping us provide timely help to our clients. This reduces costs because we do not have to travel to the client to help them. I can connect remotely and help someone in a timely manner. I can share a specific outcome where, now that we have more than one hundred clients that we help, I estimate we have saved more than one hundred thousand dollars.

It covers you for HIPAA and PCI certification
Take Control is a way to remotely take over the console of a managed machine, but it also gives you other abilities. You can take over the console, access the registry, throw commands at it in the background, and manipulate the file system Take Control enables you to collaborate with end users.…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"While Microsoft Intune boasts a wide range of features, its user-friendliness and bundled licensing cost are key considerations for me."
"There are no complaints about the stability. It works one hundred percent of the time."
"The most valuable aspect of the product is that we are able to send application deployments and certifications for conditional access."
"The technical support of Microsoft Intune is good."
"The solution appears to be stable and scalable."
"The automatic patch management feature in the Intune Suite is helpful."
"It is a very helpful solution."
"It is a stable solution."
"AnyDesk has positively impacted my organization by helping us provide timely help to our clients, reducing costs because we do not have to travel, and with more than one hundred clients I estimate we have saved more than one hundred thousand dollars."
"Take Control enables you to collaborate with end users. It's for supporting a workstation where you want the person on the other side to see you moving their mouse, and you can work with them."
"N-able Take Control has saved me a lot of time driving back and forth to the customer's site."
"The most valuable part of N-able Take Control is being able to remotely access your customer's site. You are able to view their network. Once you have it set up, it's always available. N-able Take Control can be used even when other remote access controls have been made."

Cons

"The solution could improve its flexibility."
"Intune does not provide real-time visibility."
"I would like more clarity on how Intune is migrating control from Active Directory group policies, especially as we move over to Windows 11. It seems inefficient to manage some settings in Active Directory and others in Intune."
"There can be delays in the deployment of new policies."
"The reporting could be improved, as it's pretty poor compared to other products of this type."
"I am not involved in the day-to-day with Intune, but we have gone with a different product for updating mobile device software. We do not integrate many of our mobile devices that are not Microsoft-based devices, such as Dell laptops, with Intune."
"Also, Microsoft Intune relies heavily on its fellow products in the suite."
"The portal of Microsoft Intune is slow for me, but otherwise I think it is an acceptable product."
"An improvement I would like to see for AnyDesk is that the free package has quite a limitation that comes with many advertisements once you exhaust the number of connections."
"The dashboards I do not use because there are issues. The solution monitors your antivirus and other programs but it does not seem to work well."

"We've seen some latency problems in AWS environments. Aside from that, it's a pretty solid service."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Intune is cost-effective as it is included in some of the Office 365 packages."
"Intune is available as an individual product, but it also comes with Office 365 Premium or an Enterprise license, and the price varies for each version."
"It is reasonable. When you have Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 license, it is already licensed in that license. So, you could say it is free."
"While I don't have access to high-level financial information, I believe we have achieved lower costs with this implementation."
"My team members bundled it together with their Microsoft solutions, including Microsoft 365 and related products."
"Pricing depends on the features. Microsoft offers special packages if there are more than 10,000 users, and you may be able to get a reduced rate."
"Most of our clients come to us with licensing already in place. On average, it costs $6 per device per month to add Intune to an Office 365 subscription, but I am not sure."
"Previously the price was $4 per month per user. Now it's $2.25 per user per month."

"N-able Take Control charges you a monthly fee for every customer that you have booked in, and it used to be inexpensive but it's a little bit more expensive now."
