Process library has unified workflows and now provides transparent ownership across our bank
The complexity of versions in Adonis Platform depends on how complicated they are. If you create a simple flow, it is easy, but you can create flows with swimlanes and quite tricky options, and then it can become very large and very complicated. For simple tasks or for simple processes from operations, it is easy. Something that I miss in Adonis Platform is that we do not have a way to see who made changes. You can only see if you change the versions; you can see the older version, but you cannot see the history. Maybe if I work on Monday and I make some changes there, I can see the results today, but I cannot see the steps in between, the history. I miss the history. We also have an issue that we would really like to use AI, but it is a little bit difficult because we do not want to have all our processes available for external AI. So we have to create an internal AI, and I do not know if we are going to do it because this might be very expensive. I wish it would be easier for Adonis Platform to have some AI integrated. Also, the concept of rights is very difficult because everybody can access Adonis Platform, but only in a view-only mode. It is a very complicated process with ordering your rights for Adonis Platform because there are many different departments using Adonis Platform and they do not want everybody to be able to change their processes. So we have a rights concept for Adonis Platform, and it is quite complicated. The user permissions are very complicated and annoying. Overall I am satisfied with Adonis Platform, but it takes a while until you learn how it works. There are many questions from colleagues about how it works, what you can do, and what things mean. There is quite a lot of training necessary. I still think that AI would be a great contribution for Adonis Platform. For example, if you could tell AI to build you a process in BPMN style for whatever process, and AI would do it automatically, that would be perfect, but currently we are still doing it manually.

Infrastructure as code has boosted multi-account deployments but needs less tool lock-in
The best features of Gruntwork AWS Terraform Module Libraries & Reference Architecture are that they offer production-grade option modules that are available for everything I can think of, such as VPC, EKS, RDS, ALB, NLB, or any Lambda functions, as well as the Terragrunt-first architecture, which emphasizes that DRY configs are there, remote states, and multiple account deployment can be used with that. It also maintains security best practices, including default IAM, least privileged right access, secure networking, logging, auditability, and CIS controlled network. Gruntwork AWS Terraform Module Libraries & Reference Architecture has positively impacted my organization, as previously things were done manually, but now we have everything in place. All the Terraform configurations are in the form of infrastructure as code that's available. I find Gruntwork AWS Terraform Module Libraries & Reference Architecture very good for easier management, as our whole infrastructure is there in the form of code. There are fewer chances of error because everything is in a formal structure, infrastructure as code, which can be reviewed by other people as well. The production speed and the deployment speed are quite high; if anything comes up, we don't need to go and check it. We can just write a module inside it, and it will create that thing using the other modules that are there.
