Basically, I promote more of HP DSCI, disaggregated hyperconvergence. Earlier, I was using Nimble. Now I am using the same engine. The only thing is, with the Alletra six thousand series, I get fully all NVMe drives. T
he performance throughputs, of course, depend on the use case basis, like customers having databases and stuff like that. They may demand higher performance as they find issues. I promote more of Electra with NVMe, whether it's aggregated hyperconvenience of HP solutions.
HP has its own software called InfoSight for the users. It performs predictive analysis and takes a proactive approach to identify issues even before failures occur.
There is a lot of built-in predictive analysis. Even if a customer doesn't know there is a hardware failure, it proactively sends out an email to the service center. When I have data deduplication and compression techniques, it saves resources for end customers. For instance, where they used to go for larger databases, significant savings are now possible.
It might be expensive. If budgets are not a concern for any client, I recommend All-Flash. If there are tight budgets, I then suggest going for MSS storage because both offer deduplication and compression techniques.
The first option, Alletra, definitely provides better IOPS and guaranteed performance. It is slightly more expensive. People who do not have any budgetary concerns, whose priority is performance, should go with Alletra.
I have used NVMe for almost more than six months now.
HPE is excellent, at least in this part of the world in Kuwait. I do not see any issues as such. More than ninety percent of the customers are retained, who are using HP.

I work with Dell also. I promote more of HP since I have been associated with it for a long time.
In case my engineers cannot do it, for any reason such as lacking training or certification, the process is still quite simple when it comes to HPE's installation. It is straightforward and takes a maximum of a couple of days, or, at least, a complicated virtualization setup will take a couple of days. I do the testing and leave the client to evaluate. The project is closed within a week.
