Everpure Evergreen One Reviews

My main use case for Everpure Evergreen One is for the block. In our daily work, we use Everpure Evergreen One for production workloads, specifically for the block.

Using block storage with Everpure Evergreen One has helped my production workloads primarily through performance and reliability. The performance is excellent because of Pure's simple architecture with just two controllers.

Everpure Evergreen One offers exceptional features, including hardware that is compact and does not occupy multiple racks in data centers. The cooling and electricity savings are significant, and the ease of management means that even someone without any experience can manage Pure.

The ease of management has helped my team because storage provisioning is straightforward. You can provision storage with just two clicks without waiting. There is no spinning, no loading, nothing—just one action, assuming you have already completed the zoning and added the hosts and host groups.

Everpure Evergreen One has positively impacted my organization because the Evergreen model provides a hardware refresh every three years, essentially giving you new hardware and better performance, which is one of the coolest things.

From these hardware refreshes, I have seen specific outcomes including no downtime at all. I performed a controller upgrade from M series to X, and it was seamless—no downtime, just one controller replacement at a time, with no performance issues and data still accessible.

I think Everpure Evergreen One can be improved from the NAS perspective, as I am expecting a bit more development in Pure in the future.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for almost seven years.

Everpure Evergreen One is stable.

The scalability of Everpure Evergreen One is definitely good, especially when it comes to FlashBlade, where the scale-out is excellent. If you want capacity or compute, it is definitely valuable. Even with FlashArray, if you want storage, you can add disk shelves on the fly, which is beneficial.

Customer support for Everpure Evergreen One is fantastic. Support is available whenever I require it, always 24/7.

I was previously using Dell EMC.

I have definitely seen a return on investment because upgrades, whether firmware upgrades or controller upgrades, save a significant amount of time.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is definitely straightforward and very fast. Pricing with the hardware upgrades and software is acceptable.

Before choosing Everpure Evergreen One, I evaluated other options including Vast and InfiniDat.

I would rate Everpure Evergreen One a ten on a scale of one to ten. I give it a ten because, especially compared to others, it definitely stands out very well in each and every aspect.

Regarding Everpure Evergreen One's AI capabilities, I find its governance and security to be definitely very useful features, as it can provide all the simulation regarding performance or capacity results. If there is any performance issue on one singular array, it gives me insights to move to a different array from the fleet.

The accuracy and reliability of output from Everpure Evergreen One's AI capabilities are definitely really good.

My advice to others looking into using Everpure Evergreen One is simply to believe in Pure. My overall review rating for Everpure Evergreen One is ten out of ten.

My main use case for Everpure Evergreen One is for storage of a customer that needs big capacity.

For example, the customer has a file system, a big file system, and they plan to have another two file systems that include video survival files and media files, so they need a solution for storage that serves this requirement. We suggest that they can use Everpure Evergreen One solution for this purpose.

We use Everpure Evergreen One for the refresh of storage of several arrays of other brands, and we are always proposing Everpure Evergreen One with a forever perpetual subscription. We are working with one customer to propose the Everpure Evergreen One subscription model in some financial company.

I appreciate the non-disruptive hardware and software upgrades offered by Everpure Evergreen One; that is a very good feature. Another one is that they include all the software that is necessary for the customers, and the platform is very big and strong with no downtime.

For customers in the financial area who need no downtime during hardware upgrades, they enjoy that all the hardware and software upgrades in Everpure Evergreen One solutions are easy, secure, and faster to apply. That is the reason they continue using the platform. Another good part is that they do not need to change all the hardware every three years; they can apply for an upgrade of main controllers and have the latest storage solution of Everpure Evergreen One.

Another benefit that I mentioned before is that they can have the latest storage solution of Everpure Evergreen One without needing to change all the hardware, so this is a very good offer that customers really appreciate.

Everpure Evergreen One helps us to grow our business and sales; those are the two big points that we continue to offer the brand. Another big benefit is that we can meet our customers' requirements.

Customers are very happy with Everpure Evergreen One solutions; however, it could be improved with better prices and availability of new storage or flash arrays. There is a current global issue with the availability of NAND chips and storage flash disks, but it would be great for Everpure if prices and availability were better than those of other brands.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for about one year.

The platform is very strong, so customers appreciate acquiring and renewing support with us and with Everpure, resulting in our benefits increasing about thirty percent and sales about twenty percent more.

A few years ago, we used to sell other brands such as Dell or HPA storage, and now that we offer Everpure Evergreen One, we gain more margin of benefit in every sale of storage.

Governance and security in companies are very critical, so I think that is one of the best capabilities that Everpure Evergreen One has now.

The accuracy and reliability of output are very important, as I mentioned before, and security is a complicated item for companies; in this area, it is necessary to improve faster so we can help customers gain in security.

My principal advice for others looking into using Everpure Evergreen One is to try the technology first and make all necessary tests to prove that Everpure Evergreen One solutions are the best. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

We are subscribed for Pure Storage Evergreen One and Pure1, which allows us to have an OpEx kind of a model working along with them. This is providing us an advantage. Pure Storage Evergreen One and Pure1 is basically what is currently being solutioned.

We recommend Pure Storage Evergreen One depending on account to account and customer to customer. I cannot name the customers.

The most valuable features in Pure Storage Evergreen One are the SLAs, which are tied to the kind of services that we are going to run. These SLAs govern the consumption and the reporting as well. I find it more attractive when we are tied to a specific SLA, and the VRA is providing the services within that agreed SLA, then there is no requirement for a complete capacity assessment. The entire capacity review, assessment, and recommendations come as part of Pure Storage Evergreen One solution.

Pure Storage Evergreen One has a list of services which will provide the services, including cyber resilience. First, they have complete capacity management which is done by them and which will also provide us a heads up on how we are consuming the services and where these services can be improved. Second, it will also provide us some of the key attributes, such as we can take the snapshots and LUN snapshots, which will provide a cyber-resilient copy where data can be secured in case of a cyber attack. We have an option to basically recover the earliest. Third, because of this feature and because of Pure Storage Evergreen One, I am talking about the Evergreen aspect. Because of Evergreen, we also have an option to upgrade the controllers based on the SLAs. If the agreed SLAs are not meeting the requirement, we have a provision to upgrade the controllers and so on. This is giving a good feature for us to evaluate and provide a valuable proposition to the customer who wants to use Pure Storage as a Pure OpEx model.

I would love to explore more options on what Pure Storage Evergreen One can offer in general, mostly from the cybersecurity perspective and air gap. If the solution can be such a way where it can be air-gapped as well, that would be beneficial.

Because of our own governance, we can propose options for consumption, and we also provide both CapEx as well as OpEx based solutions.

I am still doing solutioning and offering side of things on these elements.

At this point in time, we are only looking at X70 and X90, these two arrays.

We have different deployment options. We can air-gap the solution, where the data can be secured in a vault kind of a solution, where we can bring the systems workloads at the earliest. I need to probably explore that option working along with Pure Storage Evergreen One.

From the industry scale perspective, the pricing is found to be on par with the other vendors with equal capabilities.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for seven years, and my main use case is our production workload.

We use Everpure Evergreen One for storing all of our application data, our backups, and our file shares.

The best features Everpure Evergreen One offers include that you don't have to pay for the next upgrade, as they come and do it non-disruptively in about an hour, providing brand new hardware, which is amazing and very simple.

The seamless and quick upgrade process has made our team's operations and planning far simpler, as we don't have to worry about doing upgrades on our own every three years.

Everpure Evergreen One has positively impacted my organization by making everything predictable; we knew what we were going to pay every year, which made planning fiscal budgets so much easier.

The impact on my budgeting process has been that it made everything reliable; we know what we can budget every year without having to worry about surprises or fees going up.

Everpure Evergreen One could be improved by taking your time and probably having a little more training at the end, just to make sure that everyone understands what was done and what's there.

I have been working in my current field for over 20 years.

Everpure Evergreen One fits into my organization's long-term technology strategy for permanent use, at least for 10 years, as far as we've planned out.

My advice to others looking into using Everpure Evergreen One is to stop looking at other solutions; you've already found the best one.

I rate this review a 10.

My main use case for Everpure Evergreen One is to downsize and upsize according to current needs.

A specific example of how I use it to downsize or upsize is based on the applications we have been running and all the runs we do, depending on how the user count works for us.

Everpure Evergreen One offers simple, easy, and hassle-free features that are managed by Everpure.

Everpure Evergreen One has impacted my organization positively because, as an SI company, when we buy it in bulk and share it among multiple other customers, it helps us with the shared model and how we can handle the entire workload.

I can share specific outcomes and metrics such as money saved or time saved from using the shared model. I would say approximately 10 to 12 percent of our overall cost has decreased. Additionally, the overall customer experience since we moved from Dell to Everpure has been great.

Everpure Evergreen One could be improved by being slightly more flexible with the pricing model.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for two years.

I am satisfied with the features and do not have additional feedback to add. I have mentioned all the needed improvements and have no further suggestions for Everpure Evergreen One. My review rating for this product is 10.

I present Everpure Evergreen One as the solution for clients to understand their environment. Our typical use cases are centered around storage and position it as a competitor to GreenLake.

The best features Everpure Evergreen One offers are speed and accessibility of storage from a client's perspective.

The speed and accessibility of Everpure Evergreen One mean that data needs to be accessed quickly, which provides a better opportunity to receive that data using flash versus DDR, RAM, memory, or older storage options.

Everpure Evergreen One has positively impacted my organization because it is an easy sell regarding flash storage. The only issue we find with it is pricing, which can vary depending on the customer.

It is an easy sell because the performance and speed of flash storage is significantly faster.

I am not sure how Everpure Evergreen One can be improved; I will leave that to product development.

I have been selling Everpure Evergreen One to my clients for about a year now.

Everpure Evergreen One is stable.

Everpure Evergreen One's scalability is quick, fast, and resilient, with great stability. Scalability is excellent.

I have not had any issues with Everpure Evergreen One that require customer support.

Setup is not difficult, and licensing is primarily a subscription model.

I have seen a return on investment in terms of time saved, definitely, but not really in terms of money.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is typical, depending on whether there are deal regulations involved.

Before choosing Everpure Evergreen One, I evaluated other options such as HPE and Dell.

My advice to others looking into using Everpure Evergreen One is that it is very fast, scalable, and flash storage is reliable. I would rate this product an 8.

My main use case for Everpure Evergreen One is to help our clients make a transition from a Pure C to a Pure X or achieve better performance.

I use Everpure Evergreen One to help our client in Honduras, who purchased a Pure series C, achieve better performance for virtualization by changing the controller to a series X Pure.

The best features Everpure Evergreen One offers include the change of the controller, the support of the Pure, and everything else.

These features stand out to me because they help our clients significantly. The support is very important for them, especially if they experience a failure, as it ensures that their operations are not negatively affected.

Everpure Evergreen One has positively impacted my organization by improving sales, enhancing performance of the Pures, strengthening support, and providing our clients with more security in their storage.

I have seen Everpure Evergreen One improve sales and performance with faster response times in a SQL database, better performance in backups, and overall better performance in everything our clients run on a Pure storage.

Everpure Evergreen One can be improved with more presence in Latin America, especially in Central America.

The needed improvements include better support in Central America for Everpure Evergreen One.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for three years.

Everpure Evergreen One is very stable.

I rate Everpure Evergreen One's scalability a 10.

I rate the customer support for Everpure Evergreen One a 10.

Previously, we used different solutions, including Dell PowerStore, Dell Unity, Dell PowerScale, and Dell ECS, and we switched everything to a Pure FlashBlade and Pure FlashArray.

I have seen a return on investment with time savings and money savings because our clients do not need to invest in an expansion that is very expensive. They choose Pure because they get a better price for the equipment.

I find the experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing to be very easy.

Positive

A quick specific example of how I'm using block storage with Everpure Evergreen One is VMware storage.

Everpure Evergreen One has been my go-to storage platform for years, positively impacting my organization.

I do not have anything that I wish was different about the platform.

I rate Everpure Evergreen One as a nine on a scale of one to ten.

I do not know why I gave it a nine.

Regarding Everpure Evergreen One's AI capabilities, I appreciate its governance and security.

Regarding Everpure Evergreen One's AI capabilities, I appreciate its accuracy and reliability of output.

My main use case for Everpure Evergreen One is for storage. A quick specific example of how I use Everpure Evergreen One for storage is to enable a partner to move to the cloud.

I support a partner who works with different types of data, but mostly file-based data. That is the main way I am using Everpure Evergreen One right now.

Everpure Evergreen One has positively impacted my organization by simplifying the way we work.

It has changed our operations by providing seamless uptime and upgrade procedures for controllers with no downtime. I cannot share specific metrics or numbers regarding how much time I have saved or how much less downtime I have experienced since using Everpure Evergreen One.

The main benefit for me when using Everpure Evergreen One for file-based storage is that it is simple to create data stores, simple to create new volumes, and simple for recovery in a VMware environment.

The simplicity in creating volumes and recovering data has helped me by saving time when implementing this solution for new clients. It has also saved me time in having to restore only a specific volume rather than restoring everything, which really simplified that process.

Everpure Evergreen One can be improved by better communicating its advantages in a cyber resilient scenario. Although I personally believe it is the market leader, the performance and lack of large downtime are already strong differentiators.

I have been using Everpure Evergreen One for three years.

I would rate Everpure Evergreen One a ten on a scale of one to ten.
