I think Nutanix has the edge
· Nutanix supports multiple hardware vendors, commodity through to Enterprise, SimpliVity now only HPE, therefore, hardware lock-in
· Different hypervisor support, VMware, AHV, Hyper-V and external physical server support…

Answered a question: What unique aspects of HCI does Nutanix provide that other HCI solutions do not?
Surely it stops with the fundamental requirement “DO NOT want to pay for VMWare”
The other solutions run on VMware only….not sure why further embellishment is required?
For the record I really like both solutions, both work well, both are rapidly increasing IT market…
