We all know it's really hard to get good pricing and cost information.
Please share what you can so you can help your peers.
The biggest issue disadvantage of TIBCO is that it is expensive. It's just too costly.
Its licensing cost is considerably high as compared to other ESBs.
The quality is good, but the price is on the higher side. The previous version and their pricing models were much more cost-effective. But maybe from their point of view, they have made changes. They have brought in containers and all the latest DevOps stuff, which is not very pocket friendly for their consumers. For the same price, if I go for the previous version, I would have got a lot more capacity with similar features, but now they have changed their whole design.
We consult with TIBCO to understand the market and try to get the customer's different levels of pricing.
The licensing cost is a challenge for quite a few customers. Tibco Products may have a high initial setup cost in terms of pricing and licensing. However, it depends on what agreements are made with the Tibco vendor, what kind of setup is being done, and how efficiently the architecture is laid out.

I am looking for few suggestions on key focus elements while evaluating ESBs with consideration to the services that will be accessing Big Data.
Your ideas are much awaited and appreciated.
