The solution is not expensive, but priced averagely, I will say. Regarding the pricing part based on the use cases, we used to sometimes see or do some of the costing parts also in that case. Department-wise, we used to check which department has more ability to help the company to reduce costs. For instance, the development team is unnecessarily using S3 and other solutions, which are not required tools. For the production team, we can't put any more points on that. But for development, we used to check whether the usage was correct or not. If you save thousands of dollars every month, then it is helpful to the company. In that case, we used to put in some extra extras for the company.

Compared to other cloud platforms, it is manageable and not very expensive.
You only pay for what you use. This is a nice benefit.
