What advice do you have for others considering N2WS Cloud Protection Manager?

If you were talking to someone whose organization is considering N2WS Cloud Protection Manager, what would you say?

How would you rate it and why? Any other tips or advice?

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate N2WS Cloud Protection Manager a seven. I don't give it a ten because in our case, in France, you have many MSP for the storage solution for backup. Local MSP promotes the fact that the data stays in France. The customers would like to be sure that their partners engage the site and where the data stays. It's not a question of a feature. It is a question of régulation. It's just a question of how the customer would like to use the product. The product is made with an American view of how to use their data and how to use the backup. In EMEA and in France, it's different because you have many kinds of companies, including small companies, and governments. The government has their own needs and we have to respect that. It's a question of regulation. Veeam could solve this by having CSP in each country and near customers.

This is a perfect product for me because I don't want something that consumes too much in terms of resources. I just want it to perform backups. In my opinion, this product is for medium-sized companies. Not for a large enterprise. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

I rate it a ten out of ten. It is a good investment and gives us the best solution with its pay-for-what-you-need pricing.

It does the job and you don’t need to write your own scripts. It solves one of the major issues organizations have when they move to AWS.

See if you can do AWS natively if you're just starting out. Check out AWS first, then check out CPM. See what you can do it cheaply on the marketplace and what works for you. We have only used the AWS version.

I am using this solution for backing up my virtual machines. I am also performing backups on applications like SQL and Alliance.

Our customers primarily use it to have a double copy because they made their first backup or first copy onsite and they would like to externalize a second copy of their workload. Sometimes they use the classical backup solution with Veritas or Commvault, ARCserve or others, and they could use a second view of the VM backup with Veeam or others. They make a Veeam backup as a strategy and an application backup. More and more they use the Cloud as a repository for the Veeam Backup.

The price is not cheap, nor is it costly. There are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees.

The channel is prioritizing the SMB market - on the small and medium business. Overall, the product is successful with the SMB market, that seems that price and services cost is aligned with the SMB market and well accepted by customers We are Moving from perpetual subscription and billed to monthly basis services (Cloud billing method).
