Are you satisfied with Sonicwall NSA4600 in your installation?

Hi community,

I'm looking into SonicWall NSA. How is it in terms of ease of set-up and management?

We are using it in a hospital setting on the internet.

Yes, best firewall/VPN in market IMHO. The Netextender issue turned out to be a non-issue. I like to say that Sonicwalls are to Cisco ASA(s), like Apple is to PC(s).

If you just want to use it, and not learn the crazy awful CLI, that only works if you get every stray cli statement correct. We struggled for a few years try to get sonicwall vpn tunnels to talk to cisco firewalls. We ended up replacing the cisco firewall are the world with sonicwalls

I advise you to buy another product / vendor, especially if you hear about a breach of their VPN solution (Net Extender)

Also, its management and configuration is not smooth and not organized compared to other products (Fortinet/FortiGate NGFW) , and you will encounter many false positive results, especially when applying Web Filter/Application Control.

We are looking forward to whoever can help us configure or re-configure our Sonicwall.

Hi security and IT pros, I work as the Business Excellence Manager at a Manufacturing company (size: 500+ employees). At the moment we're researching two firewalls products: Sophos XGS 2100 or SonicWall 2700.  Which one is better (and why?) for a medium-sized company with 150 users, and ~120 concurrent connections? I appreciate your help.

I'm researching firewalls. Could anyone recommend an NGFW solution that is compatible with Azure?
