What they're doing now in version 13 of Veeam Backup & Replication is not requiring a Windows platform, which is very good. I don't prefer Windows in terms of security. I thought that having a Windows machine running this was not the best for security. I prefer security and resources dedicated to this because of the license and a graphical interface. I prefer what's now being developed, which can be on a Linux platform with a web interface, instead of the Windows console. I think a web console is easier and more convenient. In version 13 they are implementing this, but I think they have to complete it.
