Threaded collaboration has transformed how our team tracks tickets and monitors automation updates
One suggestion I would make for improving Slack Business - Enterprise is the support of multimedia such as images and videos that we can easily share through Slack. That would be great. Additionally, another thing is AI integration; if Slack has some AI capabilities to get insights about conversations or summarization, that would be a great feature. If Slack has an AI feature that can summarize a particular Slack thread and provide a summary of that, that would be a great feature for us. I would rate it a ten if it comes with some AI features, particularly using generative AI to produce summarization and other kinds of insights from communication in a more secure, data-secure way.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Initially I thought it cannot be better than Skype, but after working with it for a while I can definitely confirm it is a great tool for collaboration."
"The solution has a great user interface and functionalities. It has good features that we can use. We can integrate any third-party application with Slack so that it provides you with insights and updates in real-time on Slack itself."
"It's valuable for announcements and communicating between team members."
"I like Slack's notifications. It is more user-friendly and pleasing than Teams."
"Slack offers several valuable features. Firstly, they have a message deletion feature, which is now available in other software as well, but Slack was the one who introduced it in enterprise solutions."
"Slack is a very stable product."
"I am impressed with the product's calls and screen share features which are very useful."
"Slack Business - Enterprise has had a positive impact on our organization with better communication, provides faster response times, fewer emails, and has helped create a more agile company."
"It works fine on lower networks as well."

Cons

"There are a lot of integrations and custom integrations available, but I believe there are opportunities to make those integrations much easier and faster, particularly for business or non-technical people."
"When someone responds to my message in Slack, a new window opens. There should be an option to roll down the answers."
"Many of the advanced features and integrations are built with developers in mind. More functionality and integration for other use cases would be welcome."
"There should be better integration between Slack and Office 365."
"I would like to have meeting functionality within Slack."
"Slack's channel and chat management could be more intuitive."
"Slack's interface is not simple for me. It's not a user-friendly interface"
"From my perspective, a disadvantage of Slack compared to Teams is that connecting between the apps can be a bit difficult."
"They should reduce data consumption and improve network connection for video calls."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is cheap in my country."
"The pricing can range up to about twenty bucks a user. You can spend a lot of money, especially if you're talking about thousands of users. Generally speaking, Slack is less expensive than Teams. Slack doesn't include all the bells and whistles that Teams does. So you can go from a $6 license in Microsoft 365 to a $50 license per user per month, and there's a lot more you can do in the $50 license."
"The tool's pricing could be cheaper."
"When it comes to pricing, it is on the expensive side."
"It is an affordable solution."
"Slack is definitely worth the money."
"The solution is expensive."
"It is less expensive than one of its competitors."
"It is a cost-efficient solution."
