Easy to understand with fair pricing and lots of unique features
We use the desktop version of RationalPlan, and It seems some desktop software has the ability to share a document as a web view. This would be a nice feature allowing us to share our plans with clients without needing additional software. This may be something that is offered in the RationalPlan cloud plan. However, it would be nice for the desktop version to have this ability to bring it one more step ahead of the competition. As a side note, RationalPlan does have a free viewer as well.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I enjoy being able to switch between different views of a board, such as Gantt or Kanban, as this provides alternative ways of viewing tasks and managing workload."
"The reminder function and tagging function work really well."
"The mobile application is an absolute breeze to work with."
"Shareable boards are a great solution for clients who want to track the progress of their work orders without checking in with us directly."
"monday.com is an excellent tool to follow your project timeline to see where you are and where you want to go. It's super flexible. Thanks to all the automation, you can do practically anything with monday.com."
"I love being able to "check off" a task by changing its status to "done." It also disappears off the list when you complete it."
"Automation is by far the most valuable tool ever."
"In general, this solution is very user-friendly."
"Support is top-notch whenever help is needed."

Cons

"I do wish that admins could edit everything, no matter who created a post/board/subitems, etc."
"Once timers are cleared, there is no way to recover this data."
"I'm not such a fan of the infinite scroll to the right."
"We need more cross-API integration with creative apps in the Adobe Suite and other communication platforms."
"It would be nice to have a general section at the top of each group."
"It would be so cool to have live chat with team members when needed instead of having three different apps for work-related tasks."
"We would like to have less downtime as it happens now and then!"
"A more personalized dashboard displaying each account's unfinished assignments would be helpful."
"We use the desktop version of RationalPlan, and It seems some desktop software has the ability to share a document as a web view. This would be a nice feature allowing us to share our plans with clients without needing additional software. This may be something that is offered in the RationalPlan cloud plan."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing of monday.com is worth it."
"I wasn't involved with the licensing, but I believe it's negotiable."
"The product is not expensive."
"I am using the tool's free version."
"The enterprise plan looks expensive because we don't understand the value as monday.com users. The pro level and other packages seem reasonable."
"We tell others it's about $2200 for a ten-person plan and it can be adjusted; it's easy to scale."
"The pricing of monday.com was a little bit high for us, especially here in South Africa, compared to Basecamp."
"There are features that they're putting in the Enterprise plan that you have to pay for the Enterprise plan to use those features. The Enterprise plan is probably double or triple the Pro plan price, or it may be two and a half times. From a business standpoint, I don't like the fact that I have to pay two and a half times more to use a particular feature."
