All Microsoft applications, whether database or analytics, are a little costlier compared to Google products, and this is a barrier that needs to be crossed so that all its applications become more affordable. For example, startups typically go for free tools. Microsoft should offer these products for free to startups or perhaps free for the first year or two years, so that startups can use these applications, and once they grow bigger and have larger revenue, they can purchase it at a reasonable cost. All Microsoft tools need to cut down on their price and have a better strategy around pricing for the masses. If you sell only to ten customers, your revenue is lesser, but if you give something for free to some customers, two years down the line they will purchase it. Microsoft Azure DocumentDB still needs the ability to connect to other analytics easily without any additional integrator. For example, if I can connect to Google Analytics or other analytics that are not Microsoft tools using this database, that would be a good source of revenue. If I have already purchased Google Analytics in my company and I need a database, and Microsoft Azure DocumentDB can very easily connect or integrate to my Google Analytics, I would not have to think twice. Cross-company application connectivity is something that needs to be worked on.

Cloud database service has reduced admin workload and delivers reliable automated operations
There are no managed detection response solutions or backup and recovery and point detection response. Flash storage is not available as Flash Creek store. Robotics process automation and application security testing are not available; I went to the working solutions, but most of the time it did not work. Oracle Database as a Service in particular is the Oracle business suite or the Oracle data access. As far as working with it as a service, I have not even received a reply yet from the relational database service. I do not know how many people are using Oracle Database as a Service in my organization. For the diabetes service, I have used some of the perks from Arkin. I rate Oracle Database as a Service at a nine overall.

"Microsoft Azure DocumentDB is never down because of its scalability feature."
"The most beneficial features of Microsoft Azure DocumentDB that I noticed is that it appeared to be straightforward, it was ease of use, it was not complicated compared to some of the other tools that are out there, the teams were familiar with it, and it integrated well with other Microsoft products."
"We have immeasurable benefits mainly in reduced operational effort and the time saved on routine database administration."
"Microsoft Azure DocumentDB has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to reduce database costs by 30%."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Azure DocumentDB in my daily work is the speed."
"The most valuable feature of Oracle Database as a Service is its use as a provisioning database."
"I will rate this solution a nine out of ten. We have been using this solution for the past ten years. We will continue the partnership. I do not expect to see any further integration of the tool with our software. I will recommend this tool to those with a large database."
"The functionality is good."
"The valuable features include availability, agility, and scalability."
"We have found all of the features of this solution to be valuable to our organization."
"In terms of structured databases, I support SQL-based databases. SQL has its place, but not for plannable structure and transactional databases. At the same time, Oracle is very much optimized."
"The solution is stable."
"The most valuable feature of Oracle Database as a Service is the stopwatch."

Cons

"Microsoft Azure DocumentDB could be improved with more straightforward cost and performance optimization guidance, especially for understanding resource usage and selecting the right configuration for different workloads."
"All Microsoft applications, whether database or analytics, are a little costlier compared to Google products, and this is a barrier that needs to be crossed so that all its applications become more affordable."
"Maybe in the future, I would like to see relationships between one document set and another document set."
"Microsoft gives you the base functionality which you can grow from, but some tools perhaps go a bit further because that is their only focus or niche."
"It is a bit expensive, especially concerning the elastic scale."
"The licensing is a nightmare. Tons of options which need to be licensed individually, and no real offering for VMware or other Hypervisors."
"Oracle Database as a Service is very convenient to use. However, we need to know to which schema we want it to connect specifically, and what are the username and password. The solution requires some basic knowledge of SQL RP and SQL Oracle to use it."
"It doesn't have an in-built database load balancer."
"Oracle demands a lot of memory and you need to have a strong machine."
"It would be beneficial if Oracle could offer features similar to those provided by open-source platforms like Postgres, such as a multi-core-based platform and a shared node database. While Oracle offers these features, they come at a high cost for clientele in the South Asian market."
"I think the downside is it's causing people pain as it compresses how fast they need to learn about it and effectively move the parts of their system that are better suited in the cloud."
"I have had a hard time finding some documentation. There should provide easier accessible documentation for Oracle Database as a Service."
"The solution uses a large amount of CPU space, which could be improved."
