The solution's activity monitoring is valuable, but it should have more integrations and updates overall
Our primary use case for this solution is activity, authentication, and scans for audit purposes and priority assessments The feature I have found most valuable is activity monitoring. McAfee has not had many legacy features. They are not updating their value adjustment. In the next feature, I'd…

Has improved database monitoring and enabled proactive threat detection across multiple clients
We have created customized alerts to help prevent unauthorized access, specifically for one of the banks, collaborating with the team to set it up on the core banking database. Organizations considering Oracle Audit Vault should recognize that its integration to Oracle database is seamless, allowing for detailed reporting, alerts, and high security. We have worked with customizable alerts regarding Oracle Audit Vault. We have created one alert based on the categories available in Oracle Audit Vault. Oracle Audit Vault uses an agent that is pushed from the appliance, which I downloaded the JAR file from. We are now considering creating a replication and patching process with planned downtime, but we have not yet experienced scaling out or patching. I would rate this review with an overall rating of nine.

"This will improve your infrastructure and make it secure for sure."
"It is a good product for controlling all databases. It is helpful for auditing the data. When people are doing any actions on the databases, they are recorded automatically in the vault. You can work on the collected data to find out exactly what is happening on a database. You can implement database encryption on the databases to control people's access to the database content, such as rows and tables."
"Technical support is perfect."
"It has provided us with a unique opportunity to automate risk discovery."

Cons

"The UI needs to be improved."
"In the next feature, I'd like to see more integrations and updates overall, specifically bottom tech."
"The endpoint security is terrible."

"This product is not stable for large environments with more than 50 targets."
"An easy, friendly user interface would be nice to have, since this would enable administrators to identify important events with a prompt response."

"Stability could be improved, we have had some challenges."
"Oracle Audit Vault is very stable, with the exception of some certificate issues that disrupted the environment for up to a month."
"We constantly have stability issues."

"In the previous version, when the aud$ and fga_log$ tables reached a certain size, the collectors sometimes shut down and it took too long to get reports from the AV console, so it was not working in a stable manner."

"Oracle can be an expensive solution depending on the options and user needs."
