Collaborative development has become more secure and efficient for our team
We have faced some issues with Windows OneDrive because if one developer has a folder in a common OneDrive folder, it took some time to show it to others. It becomes somewhat difficult to work, as there is latency on that, so if you update that, it will be more efficient and useful for the developers. My main focus on Windows 10 is the giving of regular updates, so it might take some time to update Windows, which is also mandatory. As a developer, when we are working with Windows 10, if it takes more time to update and restart the PC, it affects our efficiency at work. If we could stop the updates on a regular basis or if they were delivered faster, it would be easier. As a developer, the frequent updates are too annoying for working on it, so it would be better if we stop the frequent updates and only provide the most important ones. Performance issues over time due to background apps and programs piling up and using an SSD instead of a hard disk are also concerns.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I have observed improvements in CI/CD infrastructure optimization, designing AI-native workloads, exploring pricing alternatives, and forecasting."
"Using InfrOS accelerates the process of migration planning and execution."
"Windows 10 is easy to use."
"Windows 10 is stable."
"The solution is easy to use, the performance is decent, I don't see many incidents of it crashing, the installation is easy and the deployment is pretty quick."
"The product is user-friendly and runs on multiple PCs."
"We have found the solution to be stable."
"In summary, Windows 10 is a good operating system and I recommend it."
"It is flexible and it is easy to use."
"Windows 10 has an inbuilt antivirus system that is quite good compared to Windows 7 or Windows 8."

Cons

"I would really like to have features that will help me analyze my usage on existing environments in the cloud and suggest architectural optimization improvements."
"There is room for improvement in the Github connection."
"I like the way it is already, I don't think I would improve anything about Windows 10. The licensing price could be cheaper, though."
"We are using Defender for security protection, which is part of Windows 10. We have been receiving a lot of spam mail, but when we speak to Microsoft, they claim the email is from a genuine website. However, inside that mail, there is a link, and when we click the link, it is spam. They need to improve their customer support when dealing with these types of issues."
"Windows 10 is a typical Microsoft operating system. Sometimes it doesn't work, and it constantly needs fixing in terms of upgrades, patches, etc."
"Windows 10 needs to be a little bit more secure. We're getting patches and updates from time to time."
"It's difficult to determine the source of an issue when it comes to performance."
"Windows 10 could improve by being more user-friendly and provide a screen mirroring feature for the ability to share the screen with mobile devices without having to purchase a third-party application."
"Windows 10 consumes a lot of RAM, which is inconvenient."
"The only thing which concerns me is updates. It gets updated often. Sometimes, however, it automatically gets updated. That is an issue. It can happen when you do not want it to be done. It's possible it can start and your files are not saved. They may be open while your laptop enters sleep mode. Then, when you re-open the computer to continue work, it all of a sudden decides to update, destroying your work."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We already have a license for Windows 10 in our role as Microsoft partners."
"I believe that the product is cheaply priced."
"The price is fine."
"I rate the product's price as seven on a scale of one to ten, where ten means it is a very expensive tool. I need around 80 USD for Microsoft Office because I already paid for Windows 10. In general, I don't pay anything for the product."
"There is a one-time purchase license required for this solution."
"This solution could definitely be a little cheaper."
"Every time I've bought Windows, it came bundled with the laptop, so we are talking about a perpetual license."
"There is an annual subscription to use this solution."
