Excellent for budgeting and forecasting, but long-term it will no longer be developed or supported
The fact that in a few years' time it is no longer going to be supported is a big concern. Therefore, I would advise against Hubble. Additionally, I think we underestimated the time for deployment, we thought it would be a few months and it took much longer than expected because the consultants didn't understand our process in detail before committing to the process. On a scale of one to ten, I would give Hubble a seven.

Treasury teams have streamlined cash pooling and now close complex intercompany books faster
Since Kyriba is more of a bolt-on, I suggest that more adapters are developed with ERP solutions, specifically S/4, as my idea for improvement. In cases of integration, the adapters were available, but the data sets had to be realigned. The structures in which SAP S/4 operates and the structures in Kyriba had to be mapped. If those can be developed out of the box, it would certainly smoothen the overall implementation experience. Additionally, moving open AR/AP positions from SAP S/4 to Kyriba is done as a batch load, meaning on request. If those interfaces are developed in real-time, so that real-time positions are always moved over to Kyriba, it would enhance the process even further because then the analysis is not contingent upon an on-demand pull request; it happens live. Tighter integration, and tighter real-time integration with the ERP ledgers, could help enhance the capabilities further. Tighter integration certainly is the core area for improvement with Kyriba. In addition to that, I would say that the adoption of AI could be another enhancement in the UI. The context I would suggest for its implementation is within the analysis of discrepancies. Obviously, not everything reconciles perfectly anytime cash pooling is done, so identifying postings where the match cannot be performed, leading to necessary settlements, would be good areas for Kyriba to develop further capabilities.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Being able to create calculations, hierarchies, aging buckets, etc. has reduced the Excel reports we used to have."
"Reporting was dramatically improved."
"The most valuable features are both its budgeting and forecasting."
"Hubble will truly blow you away once you get to know the product and the people behind it."
"The most valuable features are both its budgeting and forecasting."
"We have saved hours of Excel work producing the same results, which Hubble gives in minutes."
"Treasury managers have better visibility to their idle cash, and a glance overview of all accounts at one place is available without logging into each bank portal, which definitely provides better visibility and hence better use of the idle cash."
"Kyriba is the best software available, and I have seen a return on investment where the initial yearly fee is superseded by the transaction fees and tax savings we have on bulk transactions and cross-border connectivity, making it a very profitable proposition when pricing is done correctly and implemented on a large level."
"But once you start using it, it is one of the best treasury products I have come across in my career."
"For month-end close activities, there is at least a 25 percent and upwards reduction in the time it takes to close the books, which certainly translates into money saved and fewer resources needed."

Cons

"When exporting to Excel, it is values only."
"We have been advised by the owners that the budgeting tool is no longer going to be supported with future development, so my recommendation would be for them to continue to invest in development. Otherwise, at some point we will have to migrate to another technology."
"Exporting to Excel takes a lot of time when broken into sheets/files."
"The fact that in a few years' time it is no longer going to be supported is a big concern. Therefore, I would advise against Hubble."
"The only thing I may add is that it can get a little pricey when you add annual maintenance."
"Tighter integration certainly is the core area for improvement with Kyriba."
"Money-wise, I think it takes two to three years to generate the full ROI on that investment, given the initial setup of implementation is a bit higher."
"There are a bit of glitches sometimes."
