Replication monitor feature is helpful in that it allows a quick view of the status, errors, and results of the last replication

We appreciate the ease of use in this solution. It looks like File Explorer, where you set up your source and targets. Replications are created simply by using the replication wizard. It also has functionality for scheduling, verification, and alerts. The ability to write code for transformations is very useful. Once the replications are set up it is simple to maintain. The Replication monitor is helpful in that it allows a quick view of the status, errors, and results of the last replication. Replication logs and history files are very useful for determining problematic data issues. The transaction latency tool is also helpful for determining how many connections are required for larger files. The replication types that are available are: Refresh Only, Continuous, and Synchronization. We currently use Refresh Only (scheduled refreshes), and Continuous. The source and target table verification is very helpful for running checks. The Replication Monitor is also a great plus, which shows a quick view of the replication status.

Real-time data synchronization faces challenges with monitoring and affordability

The user-friendly interface in Qlik Replicate simplifies configuration and management of replication tasks because it is based on GUI, and users don't have to write any scripts. It is entirely drag and drop functionality. Even with zero knowledge of scripting, users can effectively use Qlik Replicate. The most valuable feature of Qlik Replicate is their change data capture feature. As soon as data is entered into the source, it gets captured at target locations. This occurs in near real-time, with replication happening within seconds at the target location. Additionally, whatever operations are performed at the source, whether adding data, deleting data, or updating anything, it gets replicated at target locations. It functions as data injection from source to target, ensuring all operations performed on the source system are replicated on target systems.

"In various scenarios, an important consideration is when we encounter issues and Qlik Replicate suggests reloading a specific table. If we face any problems or encounter errors with that table, it becomes necessary to make a change in Qlik Replicate. Performing a full reload every time is not feasible or practical. Instead, we should identify the specific issues and address them without repeating the entire reloading process. Based on this approach, we can investigate and resolve the problem by performing targeted loads from the source itself. This change aligns with my perspective and is something I would like to implement."
