I am not still working with Check Point tools. I am not working with anything like HashiCorp security lifecycle management or infrastructure lifecycle management. I am using Teleport instead of HashiCorp Boundary. I think it is pretty fine regarding the effectiveness of HashiCorp [Private Offer Only] Consul in managing service networking. I am not using Nomad for workload orchestration. I think HashiCorp [Private Offer Only] is expensive. Because HashiCorp [Private Offer Only] fits my use cases, that is why I am using it. My past experience with Terraform was helpful to manage a multi-cloud environment with it. Sometimes when I need to spin up multiple instances per requirement, I have the template, and I can use this to deploy the infrastructure very quickly. I would rate this review an eight on a zero to ten scale.

There is always room for improvement, and at the moment, I am on the good side. I do not really have a bad side of it or anything that I would like to see changed; I love what I see and I love what I use. One feature that comes to my mind as missing in Ignition Cloud Edition is the user graphics in the user interface. The graphics in the user interface, such as the slider or the shapes for the equipment, can be improved upon. When I am selecting a tank, I should see a real tank, or when I am selecting a breaker, it should look like a real breaker in the field, or a valve or a sensor or a slider. Every other feature, such as the graphs and charts, are cool.

Pros

"Because of using HashiCorp [Private Offer Only], I am able to comply with regulations."
"HashiCorp [Private Offer Only] has positively impacted my organization because TFE is a great product, making it very easy to onboard teams that do not have experience with the specific product but have Terraform experience, so there is no steep learning curve in terms of how to run your code."
"Ignition platform is a general, powerful platform that is easy to use and cost-effective, where in most cases, you pay one time for your license and then use it forever."
"Ignition Cloud Edition has positively impacted my organization by enabling sharing so that projects can be shared without everyone having to access them through manual file sharing."
"Ignition gives you the blank paper to dream it, reach it, and draw whatever you need."
"Ignition Cloud Edition has had a very positive impact on our organization, especially in the way we access and use industrial data."
"My main use case for Ignition Cloud Edition, even if it's just in my learning phase, was that it is a very interesting cloud platform, it was very much feasible, it can interface to multiple types of controllers and also with RTUs, and I see that its application can be used in other applications which is much more comfortable than other available platforms."
"Ignition Cloud Edition has had a very positive impact on my organization."
"Both the database and Ignition can be set up very easily without any hardware, and reliability and high availability are always there, built in."
"Ignition Cloud Edition has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to get more projects and also increasing our revenue."

Cons

"I believe there is room for improvement with HashiCorp [Private Offer Only], specifically with Vault."
"The area of improvement with HashiCorp [Private Offer Only] is that the support could be a little faster, and that is one thing regarding the technical support."
"The accuracy of Ignition Cloud Edition is not very great, and reliability also needs improvement."
"The way the historian is set up is not conducive to large deployments and it makes querying the data challenging."
"Ignition Cloud Edition reflects that it is still missing some driver options and we require a more cost-effective solution, which is why I rate it an eight on a scale of one to ten."
"For someone considering Ignition Cloud Edition, I think it is not bad, but honestly, I see it as overpriced."
"Ignition Cloud Edition can be improved in the sense that it doesn't come with some drivers in the Cloud version. For example, local device drivers are not included, and you always need a local Ignition Edge there."
"The pricing aspect of Ignition Cloud Edition is actually on the high side."
"My concern is about cybersecurity. Since it's a cloud platform, the chances of countering cybersecurity attacks will be a major concern."
"I think Ignition Cloud Edition could be more intuitive on how to use it."
