A highly stable solution with technical support that is not only good but also always available to help the product's users

Very reliable, expands well, and is pretty simple to set up
It is very straightforward to set up. It's not complex. The length of deployment depends on the way that you configure the Blades. For example, if you're going to work with VMware, the time could be at least 25 to 30 minutes. It is not going to depend on the BladeSystem; it is going to depend on the time of the operate system deployed. The number of people you need for maintenance depends on the monitoring system that you have. For example, if you have a good monitoring system for this platform you're going to need less than ten specialists, but if you don't have a monitoring system to check the platform, probably you're going to need more than ten people.

Pros

"Fujitsu Primergy BX400 Series has two processors."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is its stability."
"With just one cable, for redundancy let's say two, you can feed sixteen servers in a single c7000 chassis."
"It is very stable."
"The interface and dashboard are excellent and user-friendly."
"The product has a lot of options for checking servers and IoT ports using artificial intelligence."
"The technical support is good."
"The solution is scalable, offering flexibility and expansion options to meet changing business needs."
"HPE BladeSystem is very easy to use."
"I really appreciate the integrated Onboard Administrator, the iLO (Integrated Lights-Out) modular network, and the SAN Switches."

Cons

"It can have more automation. In addition, Fujitsu should have a broader portfolio, not specifically in terms of the service solutions, but more in terms of the big picture. A broader portfolio would be nice for providing different solutions for the customers."
"The initial setup of Fujitsu Primergy BX400 Series was complex."
"The setup process is complex."
"In terms of improvements, I'd suggest enhancing the stability of the HPE BladeSystem, especially regarding network connectivity. We once had an issue where a system didn’t communicate with the network, and it took a while to diagnose the problem. Eventually, we discovered it was a motherboard issue, but we initially thought it was the network card. Improving the onboard administratordashboard to provide more granular insights, like clearly identifying faultycomponents, would make troubleshooting much more efficient. Aside from that, the system is superb and has been reliable."
"The management side of this solution could be improved."
"Creating an integrated solution could make HPE BladeSystem more appealing."
"Some part of virtual connections needs improvement."
"It could always use new tools."
"I would like OneView to go over the current limit of 40 instances."
"I would prefer to have changes in the compatibility of the blade servers with the new ones designed by HPE, as the top team's version does not have it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There are special licenses that are connected to the usage. We installed Fujitsu Primergy BX400 Series for a high PC solution, and for this reason, some Microsoft licenses and other special licenses were embedded or bundled to the Fujitsu solution."
"No license is required to operate the product."
"Its pricing was good. We selected this solution because it was within our budget. We paid just once when we bought it. We never bought any license."
"The price of HPE BladeSystem could improve. They need to reduce the price to be able to compete better with other vendors, such as Dell."
"The licensing is on an annual basis."
"When you purchase HPE BladeSystem you have to pay for the support service. The first three years are covered under the warranty, and for any further support, you have to pay annually. When comparing the cost of HPE BladeSystem to other vendors, the fees are less expensive."
"The product’s price is high compared to one of its competitors."
"It is expensive. There are no additional costs. We are able to get good discounts anyway from HPE, but if the price can come down, we'll be happy."
"With regards to the prices, they need to adapt to the current needs of the country."
"it would make everyone happy if the solution were less expensive."
