What is our primary use case?
My main use case for CloudBeaver AWS is its centralized nature, which I use for database management systems, software development, and data analysis.
What is most valuable?
I can provide a specific example of how I use CloudBeaver AWS for database management and software development. CloudBeaver has significant advantages because it is cloud-based and requires no installation on your system. Instead of installing database clients on every user's computer, it provides a centralized web interface where authorized users can securely connect and work with databases. You have browser-based access without needing to install anything, and it supports MySQL and other database extensions.
I have much to add about my main use case and how CloudBeaver AWS fits into my workflow because it has been profoundly beneficial for several use cases, including its ability to read business intelligence, cloud-based management, and team collaboration. It is always accessible once you open a web browser, and you do not need to worry about clogging your system, memory, or storage. You can always work through a browser.
In my opinion, the best features CloudBeaver AWS offers include its centralized nature, connection management, and database connectivity since it is not federated. It has a SQL editor with syntax highlighting and is browser-based, supporting database system workflows such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. It also offers user and role management where administrators can control access permissions for teams. Based on the level of involvement or team members' profile, administrators can assign responsibilities and system restrictions. Additionally, it helps with cloud deployment through AWS services such as EC2.
I want to provide more detail about the user and role management feature, which benefits my team and organization because security is always important when every user is given access control based on their involvement in tasks or their level in the organization. It provides administrators the opportunity to create users based on their portfolios and their level of access to the internal system. This gives administrators the avenue to classify team members based on their credentials.
What needs improvement?
I believe there are still additional key attributes that could be added because CloudBeaver AWS is a business intelligence system that eliminates the requirement to install software on your system. However, since it is centralized, it can have some speed challenges, which would be one of the drawbacks when many people are using the system.
Regarding specific metrics and examples of improved efficiency, I have noticed time saved and money saved since there will be fewer employees, which is beneficial for the business because businesses exist to make profit. Performance can be slower than a desktop client for very large queries or data sets, which is understandable. The initial configuration and security setup requires some database administrative knowledge, and some enterprise capabilities are available only in paid editions. Money saved, time saved, and reduced employee count are the essential reasons why businesses adopt CloudBeaver AWS because every business exists to make and maximize profit.
I believe CloudBeaver AWS could be improved if the performance metrics were enhanced, which would be a classical improvement because I understand it is a centralized database system. If efficiency and performance metrics could be enhanced, it would be an advantage and asset for users and organizations.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using CloudBeaver AWS for about three years now, beginning in 2023.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
CloudBeaver AWS is stable. Apart from speed issues related to its centralized nature, it is very stable when compared with other software such as PHPMyAdmin. It is very powerful when compared with DataGrip, Azure Data Studio, and TablePlus. Another positive aspect is that it is web-based.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability of CloudBeaver AWS is evident because it can easily adapt to any scenario, instances, and geopolitical dimension or paradigm.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support for CloudBeaver AWS is very timely and always available, with questions answered professionally. Although there are many frequently asked questions that could help users navigate some challenges, when I decide to interact with back-end administrators, responses do not take long. I consider customer support to be very efficient and would rate it at eight out of ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have previously used different solutions. We have used many solutions including Oracle, Finacle, T24, and other options. However, these required extensive installation processes, and hacker-orchestrated denial of service attacks would hamper operations, causing us to lose money and credibility. Because of CloudBeaver AWS's double authentication system and compliance mechanisms, we decided to switch, and for over three years now, it has been successful.
How was the initial setup?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that pricing is always on a very high side. Once you have access to the software, you do not need special setup modalities—you simply open your browser and have unrestricted access based on your portfolio. However, I am certain that some third-world countries might find it difficult to meet the pricing demands.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment as companies, especially my own employer, make substantial profit from having fewer employees because CloudBeaver AWS automatically performs many functions that would ordinarily require top management to engage in massive recruitment. Fewer employees lead to more money saved and more profit declared in profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing CloudBeaver AWS, we evaluated other options, including T24, Finacle, Oracle, and others. We evaluated several options, but ultimately decided to go with CloudBeaver AWS.
What other advice do I have?
Regarding CloudBeaver AWS's governance and security, these refer to the policy control and processes used to manage access to databases. CloudBeaver AWS provides governance and security features that help organizations. Role-based access control can assist CloudBeaver AWS in creating users and teams while assigning roles and portfolios and restricting unauthorized access. User and team management allows accounts to be created and users organized into teams with assigned global portfolios. For security, CloudBeaver AWS could support several authentication mechanisms including password and access control systems, and data security would also be part of security management.
If I were to measure CloudBeaver AWS's accuracy and reliability of output, I would start with authentication, which is very efficient, and move to access control, which is profoundly efficient. Data security has good security credentials, and governance features are so profound, along with compliance support. Overall, it receives almost a perfect score.
For others considering CloudBeaver AWS, I would advise them not to hesitate to make a purchase. CloudBeaver AWS is a cloud-based, web-based database management and administration tool that allows users to access, query, and manage databases through a web browser. It is built on the technology behind the popular DBeaver desktop client and is commonly deployed on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services. Instead of installing a database client on every user's computer, CloudBeaver AWS provides a centralized web interface where authorized users can securely connect and work with databases. I would advise them not to hesitate and proceed with the product. I have given this review a rating of nine out of ten.
