Ability to interact with teachers in real-time and manage lessons after class
The deployment process is very fast. We have prepared the product to be easily installed, and we have had successful cases where it could be implemented in less than a few weeks. Moreover, Around three or four people in a call center are involved in maintaining the solution. We have a project manager, a service manager, and at least two or three system analysts who handle the maintenance. If there are any issues, we can open a support ticket for them to address.

Simplifies database management tasks and provides high availability and disaster recovery
Oracle Database Appliance has simplified our database management tasks. Our clients are using the solution for high availability and disaster recovery. Our overall experience with the solution was good, especially the DR. Oracle Database Appliance's integrated storage solutions have enhanced our data management. Oracle Database Appliance's integration with other solutions was straightforward. We faced compatibility issues while moving from another device to this one, and the integration was not seamless. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an 8 out of 10.

"The product is good value for money. It is a secure solution."
"The most valuable feature is the ease of dashboarding and ease of reporting."
"The product is very light."
"I give it a nine out of 10 because it gives the customer easy access to a complete database solution within 30 minutes."
"The solution is pretty automated, which takes out the possibility of human error."
"Oracle Database Appliances are specifically designed for Oracle databases. They have built-in utilities and tools that simplify management, making them the best option for Oracle database management systems."
"NVM Express (NVMe) solid-state drives: This technology brings outstanding I/O performance for midsize databases. We have tested it by doing POCs on customer sites and the results were quite satisfying."

Cons

"The solution is expensive. For future releases, it would be beneficial if Kovair Data Lake could enhance its ETL and data capabilities."
"Maybe the chat conversation feature could be improved."
"Oracle Database Appliance patching comes out two to three months after the regular patching cycle."
"They could incorporate a more secure and internet-centric management system for the platform."
"Even though the solution can handle a lot of data, it's just too expensive currently."
"I would rate the scalability a seven out of ten. It has some problems. Databases are huge. This leads to needing more and more RAM and capacity resources, making it hard to scale. Because of this, we use Exadata. That's definitely a point for improvement."
"The main thing would be to make ODA more affordable, to make it a more economical machine. Also, I would like to see virtualization, so you could implement all of your functions on one machine. Finally, improvement in the speed and performance would be good."
"It would be beneficial to have dedicated RAM included in the Oracle Database Appliance."
"If we were able to use Oracle Database to create mobile apps, that would be great. I don't know multiple languages, like Java, etc. I need to learn a separate language, right now in order to do this."
"Virtualization needs improvement. It's not easy to back up the virtual machines in the Oracle VM architecture. I would also like to see native support for Veeam Backup Software."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"Leverage the Pay-As-You-Grow licensing, and consider using the ODA X6-2 S/M/L models also for SE2/SE."
"In regards to licensing, it is cheaper to maintain for Oracle applications, and it's an all-in-one solution."
"I don’t know ODA and alternative system prices. But Oracle the database license is quite expensive and a lot of my customers plan to migrate to open source databases like PostgreSQL."
"The product is costly."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing seven and a half or eight out of ten."
"Oracle Database Application's support and maintenance are included in the contract."
"Get benefit from the capacity-on-demand features. License your cores according to your licenses."
"The solution may be expensive, but when we consider the problems it solves, the stability it provides, and the fact that we don't have to buy separate parts and assemble them into a system, it becomes more affordable."
