I'm more familiar with Precisely Trillium because Precisely acquired Data360, which they marketed for data governance. Precisely Trillium is a product that competes against Collibra and Alation. Alation was originally a catalog tool, which is the foundation of any data governance product, but they have since built out their solution to become more comprehensive in data governance.
