What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Dell Business Desktops involves user support, creation of institutional email accounts, network monitoring, and monitoring of security cameras, among other things.
A concrete example of how I use Dell Business Desktops for monitoring security cameras or user support is on the administrative page of Dream Machine from the company Unifi; from there, I monitor all that including the cameras, network traffic, monitoring movements, classification, location, and other tasks.
What is most valuable?
I consider the best features that Dell Business Desktops offers to be the i7 processor with 8 GB of RAM, and it comes with 16 GB, along with a hard drive ranging from 256 to 512 SSD.
Regarding those components, they improve efficiency at work, making it more agile and allowing for more concrete work. The graphics are very good; the processor is very fast and runs very well from the 12th generation. It works perfectly.
Dell Business Desktops positively impact my organization by increasing productivity, saving time, making work more agile and faster, and ensuring customers leave more satisfied with the delivery of certifications, exports, among other things.
What needs improvement?
I think the computer works very well; those desktop designs, including tower desktops that stand upright and others that lie flat, are very comfortable and good. More than what I have gotten from them, it works optimally and does not fail.
There is nothing to add; those machines work well. They are perfect. In the future, I hope for an even faster function, but they already come fast, as you can see, according to performance and user consumption, but they work perfectly.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working in my current field for six years and two months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
In terms of stability, I consider Dell Business Desktops to be a stable solution because everything works perfectly. Making an investment in something good and of quality that works perfectly is very stable and issues are resolved efficiently.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would describe the scalability of Dell Business Desktops as adaptable easily to medium and small companies. More will be bought as there will be more jobs and processes will be easier as we grow.
How are customer service and support?
My experience with Dell Business Desktops' customer support is very good; the client receives very good attention and feels comfortable. For example, if the internet cable is not working, you check the cable, and you sometimes track down issues such as when the cleaning lady unintentionally moves the phone. Everything works perfectly.
I give customer support a rating of 10 because the clients feel satisfied when you fix something for them and end up speeding up their process to serve their own clients.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
When we arrived at the government in 2020 to work, there was a machine that kept restarting; odd things would happen. We made our first purchase in January 2021, and by March, we realized that Dell Business Desktops were good and we decided to continue buying Dell. All the clients were satisfied and happy because we use Dell Business Desktops machines.
How was the initial setup?
My experience with the licensing, installation, and pricing costs of Dell Business Desktops is that the license is very good when we buy a device. For example, we bought one for 42,000 pesos; it comes included with its license and installation and all is up-to-date. It works perfectly when you buy a device.
What about the implementation team?
We evaluated the market with several suppliers, but we have a trusted supplier who always helps us with the prices and has provided us with many new devices, resulting in success.
What was our ROI?
I see improvement in efficiency, time savings, as employees work very well, more comfortably and faster. They feel very happy using those computers.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We use Microsoft, specifically Azure, as our cloud provider for the hybrid implementation of Dell Business Desktops. We used another one, but I do not remember the name, although Microsoft is more secure.
What other advice do I have?
Customers feel satisfied because of the transparency and the handling is fast, which makes them feel very satisfied.
For example, if the internet cable is not working, you check the cable, and you sometimes track down issues such as when the cleaning lady unintentionally moves the phone. Everything works perfectly.
I advise anyone considering using Dell Business Desktops, especially in line with the government, to contact the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos for medium and small businesses so they can buy Dell Business Desktops computers to have their system automated for providing customer invoicing or electronic invoicing, which works perfectly.
I tell all my users and clients to get encouraged to use a Dell Business Desktops machine so that they can keep using their computer for 8 to 10 years if they take good care of it. It is very good, truly. I encourage the client to use it.
I give this review an overall rating of 10.
