Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It can interact with other vendors better than Cisco, which is a good point of AirWave. It is easy to use, and its reporting is good.""The technical support services are good.""What I like best about Aruba Airwave is its orchestration feature because it saves configuration time. I also like that it allows you to do ZTP installations for new Aruba equipment.""The most valuable feature of Aruba Airwave is the multivendor support, which enables you to manage and monitor different vendors or products.""This solution gives you a lot of reporting capabilities, and it has a very good interface.""It has improved my organization by increasing troubleshooting opportunities which makes things more efficient.""The Clarity feature makes it easy to use and understand what is going on with your network in a nice dashboard.""It's scalable because it's licensed per device and we bought licenses with each device. I would rate it a nine out of ten for scalability."

"Data Miner allows you to take control. It has an API to talk to different products, including drivers to talk to the APIs of third-party products. You can control it from the screen.""The most valuable feature of DataMiner is its comprehensiveness. It provides an open driver that allows you to customize and program each aspect of the system. Additionally, there are many separate modules available that can be used to enhance the system's capabilities beyond just monitoring, allowing you to manage your entire workflow. This is a valuable feature that makes troubleshooting easier and helps to optimize the use of the system.""The solution is user-friendly and is readily customizable, which allows us to do control and monitoring in a single stage."

Cons
"The integration with other platforms like Cisco needs to be improved.""I want a management solution to manage and monitor everything from a single dashboard. This is not there with Airwave.""Pricing for Aruba Airwave could be cheaper, which is an area for improvement in the solution.""I would try to integrate more products from different vendors in future releases. Because that's really good features that Aruba Airway has, but it's so limited.""Whenever you get an error it doesn't immediately tell you what the thing is that is causing the error. You have to sit down and research it. If it could say what error is causing the issue, it would make my troubleshooting a lot quicker.""More devices or vendors should be onboarded to Aruba Airwave.""We encounter delayed ETAs in the manufacturing of hardware.""I would like to see is “AAS”. Not only Aruba APs with central, but NAC/ClearPass, AirWave, and everything licensed as a Service."

More Aruba Airwave Cons →

"We would like to have more products supported by the drivers because there are so many products out there. If DataMiner has not built the drivers to support them we can not control them, we can only see them based on SNMP. If more drivers are included, it won't cost us if we have new products.""I am looking forward to the company continuing to improve its solution and incorporate new technologies. Specifically, I hope that they will allow their cloud database environment to host services, rather than requiring the use of on-premises digital or physical servers. The company is moving in this direction, but I am still waiting for this capability to be implemented."

  • "This product is not expensive."
